What are the best table service restaurants in Walt Disney World that cost 2 meal credits on the dining plan? I have them right here. Don’t miss the chance to eat at these fantastic locations just because you are on the dining plan!
The Disney Dining plan is a prepaid system that gives you 2 meal credits per day. Depending on the level of your plan those can be used for table service restaurants, but some of the better ones require 2 credits just for one meal. This is obviously not advisable if you are stretching your dollars. However, signature restaurants are not to be missed and certainly worth the splurge.

5 Top World Disney World Restaurants You Can’t-Miss Worth 2 Meal Credits
Cinderella’s Royal Table
The restaurant inside Cinderella Castle is elegant and fascinating to kids. This is more than a meal. If you are character hunting this is a great way to save time and meet a lot of Disney princesses at once. The food here is also terrific and what I really love is the care in the menu selection. It’s a well-rounded list of options that is not too extensive but sure to appeal to anyone with at least one choice from each course. Cinderella’s Royal Table serves all three meals per day and can even get you into the Magic Kingdom early with reservations.
Le Cellier
This restaurant in the Canada Pavilion at Epcot is famous for their Food and Wine kiosk that serves filet mignon and cheddar soup. While the fillet is usually overcooked at the kiosk, you will have better luck inside at the actual steakhouse. The Canadian restaurant features delicious cuts of high-quality steak as well as incorporating the flavor of maple into various dishes, which is unique among the steakhouses of Walt Disney World.
California Grill
This restaurant that sits atop the Contemporary resort offers luxurious dining and sweeping views of the Magic Kingdom and the Seven Seas Lagoon. They are a famously good location for viewing the fireworks. While there is fancier and more expensive dining on property, California Grill could be described as Walt Disney Worlds flagship restaurant. The service and food are always exceptional.
Hollywood Brown Derby
One of the best places to have any type of meal is in Hollywood Studios. Surprising as it may be, this theme park brings some of the best theming and counter-service options. Most surprising of all is the Hollywood Brown Derby, which is sensational. It’s easily one of the best restaurants on property and certainly the best within any theme park.
Most of the really great 2 credit meals are to be had at Disney Springs; or at resorts like the Contemporary, or Animal Kingdom Lodge. This elegant restaurant passes for both themed dining and fine dining and it is not to be missed.
Jiko
At Animal Kingdom Lodge, you will find food to be one of the best reasons to stay at the resort. If the animals don’t entice you, the dining here surely will. Jiko is the fine dining/signature option at the resort and it is absolutely top notch. The wait staff is the most attentive and knowledgeable I have ever experienced and the food is exquisitely prepared. This is a formal and elegant dining room that remains kid-friendly. They have the largest selection of African wines, which you must choose from because it is included in the plan as well.

I was looking at those pics thinking “my God, Disney has a lot of money!” And they do, wildly popular for decades, a money machine which shows no signs of slowing up. It is a triumph for American marketing, isn’t it?
