“Get out now!! You need to leave!!” This was me shouting at Kevin when I was about 8 weeks pregnant with Emma. I honestly don’t even remember what he did wrong that caused me to get so emotional and angry, but my mood at that moment was anything, but happy. And I don’t think either of us with ever forget that day when I actually threw him out of our house!
Of course, he left and I didn’t hear from him for hours. When he finally returned much later that evening and I had cooled off some. I remember him telling me once we were discussing things that he had gone to see his very good friend to get a better perspective and handle on things. When he mentioned that he got thrown out and how upset I was, his friend’s first question was, “Is she pregnant?”
Kevin was astounded that his friend had guessed it, but was told by his friend that pregnant women have crazy moods swings sometimes. Point taken and I think Kevin learned his lesson just slightly from that first outburst. Don’t get me wrong sometimes even now he pushes his luck and I am no longer a hormonal pregnant lady (well he is a man and sometimes a stubborn one at that!).
Now, you are probably asking why I am relaying a story from over 4 years ago to you. Well, the other day I was approached by a company about promoting their very cute and ingenious product. What is the product?
Well, they are called Fun Fridge Magnets. There are three different magnet sheets. One is all different pregnancy moods. Another is for New Mom Moods. And still the third showcases New Dad Moods.
See for yourself in the above pictures just how very different these truly are and I think most who were pregnant and/or new moms/dads can agree with me on this.
These magnets are really quick clever and definitely something I think Kevin would have loved to have back when I was first pregnant having my mini-outburst. Hell, it might have saved him from getting thrown out that fateful day!! Plus, I think we both would have put these to good use when we were both first parents by using them as a quick reference to what mood either of us was in at any given moment. Kind of a warning single too if the mood was not a good one!!
Also, nowadays in my house, we can never have enough magnets, because my kids are obsessed with them and even hanging whatever they can find from our refrigerator via magnet. And I can tell you my own kids would completely get a charge out of the different emoticons that each of the magnets depict. Emma and Lily, both love to tell me all the time how they are feeling and I am sure these magnets would be a huge a hit with them or most little kids.
So, I truly love these magnets for all the reasons above and then some!!
That said, if you would like to own your own set of these three witty magnet’s set, together with the company I am raffling off the set to my readers here.

Oh thanks Clark and it may very well have helped Kevin to know what mood was happening and when. Possibly even keep him out of the doghouse now and again, too lol!! π

Lol, Kelly sounds like you can totally relate, too!! I think my kids would cry if they couldn't play with magnets on our fridge and seriously they always spend some part of their day doing this!!
