“Can we have those special rolls for breakfast?”
Breakfast around these parts usually finds my family looking for a bit more of an exceptional treat. See whether it is just us or we have family or friends over to enjoy that first meal of the day with us, we enjoy special breakfasts. These special breakfasts are especially true at Christmas time, such as this past Christmas breakfast recipe.
Recently, we had some extended family to visit our home. Well for breakfast, I made Pillsbury™ Grands! Cinnamon Rolls for all of us.
They were such a hit with not only my guests but with my family, as well.
Why?
Because they were absolutely the perfect impromptu treat for us to indulge in on this memorable morning.
Plus, not going to lie, they were just that simple and easy to make that I was able to just pop them into my oven and was able to still enjoy this time catching up with our family while they baked.
But then again, I have been a huge fan of Pillsbury™ Grands! Cinnamon Rolls since I was younger and a kid.
Why?
Because my mom used to make them for our family for a special breakfast treat, too.
I can even recall being a teen getting up later on the weekend mornings and our home wafting of the great and luxurious smell of Pillsbury™ Grands! Cinnamon Rolls.
During this time, I was a late riser and loathed getting out of bed on the earlier side. But still, I could never quite resist dragging my lazy bones out of bed once I’d get a whiff of these rolls baking.
I would say my mom was and still is one smart lady for this and so much more!
Therefore, that scrumptious smell is truly hard to forget or deny. So, for the pleasant and tasty aroma, Pillsbury™ Grands! Cinnamon Rolls are always a welcome sweet delicacy to enjoy and never need too much of an excuse to twist my arm to make now–company or not!
Still, it was no surprise that my older daughter was begging me to make Pillsbury™ Grands! Cinnamon Rolls this fine morning. See again, I do make them not only when we have special guests visiting for breakfast. But I also serve them to my gang because they are that yummy and tasty, fill the house with a savory scent, and are so simple to make, too.

And now for all those looking for that extra special treat, but oh so easy to prepare for celebrating this upcoming holiday season, here is the recipe for Pillsbury™ Grands! Cinnamon Roll Christmas Tree.
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 2. Take the cinnamon rolls and unroll each one. Form into a tree shape by zig zagging the cinnamon roll back and forth. Starting with a longer piece and continue to zig zag smaller as you go up. 3. Place on a parchment lined cookie sheet and bake for 13-15 minutes or until bottoms are golden brown. 4. While those are baking, mix the powdered sugar and water together to make extra icing. (This step is optional and only necessary if you want more icing). 5. Add the icing that came in the package with the icing you made and add 3-4 drops of green food coloring. Mix well. 6. Once cinnamon rolls are baked and cooled slightly, spread an even layer of icing on each one. 7. Add the sprinkles (ornaments), a star on top and Enjoy! 8. A fun Christmas morning breakfast!
