While we are indeed past fall, pumpkin spice hot chocolate, we are still clearly in the season where hot chocolate still rules. Therefore, now is the time to drink hot chocolate that is perfect for Valentine’s Day.
But how can we still drink hot chocolate, but make it more festive for Valentine’s Day?
Well, by adding the color pink to the mix. Yes, this pink girl couldn’t be more happy to make her hot chocolate pink. My girls couldn’t be happier if they tried. See they also quite enjoy the color pink. So no complaints here. Well maybe my husband could live without the color pink. But it is Valentine’s Day. Therefore, for the holiday’s sake he’ll have to take one for the team.
In case you haven’t guessed where this is going. Yes, this pink girl is showing you how to make the perfect, easy Pink Hot Chocolate just in time for Valentine’s Day.
This Pink Hot Chocolate recipe is truly so easy to make by combining all ingredients together. All you’ll need is milk, heavy cream, white chocolate chips, strawberry syrup and red food coloring. Sounds easy enough, right?
Well, let’s make it now…
Pink Hot Chocolate Recipe
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 12 oz. bag of white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup strawberry syrup
- 4-5 drops of red food coloring
Combine all of the ingredients into a large pot.
Then, heat on medium-low until chocolate is melted and ingredients are combined.
Serve immediately with marshmallows, whipped cream, sprinkles, etc. Enjoy!
