Plus, I even attended an annual cookie swap with some really great friends. At this cookie swap, I might even have been a winner with left-right-center (winning $21) and The Meme Game, too. I should have totally played lotto that day LOL!
But seriously, I thought it was time to add a new Christmas Cookie recipe to my baking list for Christmas cookies. Since I have been all about the Christmas Trees this holiday season, I decided to make Christmas Tree Cookies.
Don’t get me wrong Christmas Tree Rice Krispie Treats were a hit with my kids. But cookies for me is the real deal. So, I honestly couldn’t resist.
The bonus is that I used the leftover, pretzel sticks from the witches brooms at Halloween time for the Christmas Tree stem!
But back to the Christmas tree Cookie, I used sugar cookie dough cutting triangles out with a cookie cutter for Christmas tree shape. Plus, confectioner’s sugar, green food coloring and some cute little multi-colored candies for decorating my Christmas tree cookies.
They were seriously so simple and easy to make and also looked so pretty all decorated.
