The 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival starts August 29 and will run until November 23. That is for nearly three months from the opening of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge until the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Since the festival is almost upon us, there are all kinds of information to begin to share with you. Here is a glimpse of what we know so far about this year’s event.

The Activities at the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival
There are fun tasting experiences to encounter all around Epcot during the Wood and wine Festival. Party for the Senses is one of the biggest parties that Disney World offers. The ticketed event offers two exclusive seating options and is full of delicious morsels, paired with beverages and live entertainment. The chefs featured here are renowned culinary artists who display creativity and generate excitement about good food. There are also special food pairing events all over the World showcase, depending on your taste. For kids, an interactive scavenger hunt, playground, and candy sushi making experience ensure fun for the whole family.
The Entertainment at the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival
In the back of the World Showcase, in the American Gardens Theater, live performances will rock audiences with the Eat to the Beat series. Famous recording artists will be performing throughout the summer. The last day of the Concert series will be November 19. To ensure a seat at any of the live events, you can buy a dining package for almost any table service restaurant in Epcot and have reserved seating at the theater. If you don’t mind standing outside, the open-air theater entertains all guests in the surrounding area.
The Highlights at the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival
The Food and Wine Festival is a well-oiled machine that brings consistently popular experiences while folding in new and exciting opportunities. Adventures by Disney provides a taste of the cultural activities and experiences that offer by presenting a children’s event in the Land Pavilion. This is the place where kids are lead in first-hand candy sushi making. ESPN is also featured in a Monday Night Football Hosted Tailgate Tasting. Of course, the festival would not be the same without the two biggest highlights of all: global marketplaces and celebrity chefs.
The Basics at the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival
The Food and Wine Festival continues to bring entertaining and informative events to the table. Food and beverage pairings remain a staple of the festival. Seminars for cheese and beverages help to flesh out a schedule of workshops, culinary demonstrations and special Sunday Brunch with a celebrity chef.
The Merch at the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival
This year’s merchandise prominently features Minnie Mouse. Expect a lot of pink and dessert related items. Other featured characters include Mickey, Remy, and Figment. Merchandising beyond MagicBands, t-shirts, mugs and the like will consist of internationally themed bottles, bottle carriers, drinkware, growlers and more. Some of the Chef Remy merchandise includes artistic representations of World Showcase Pavilions constructed out of food.

Omg, Flower and Garden is awesome and was there this past spring for 3 days. So, if you can swing it, would totally recommend it 🙂

It would be cool to be a vendor at something like that…the amount of money you would make….but then the other part of my brain says “Oh My God, the crowds would drive me nuts!” LOL Have a brilliant weekend, my friend.
