Confession time here on the blog today.
As a kid, I never really played with Legos. This craze passed me by and was never worse for the wear. Seriously, never a Lego did I own.
But my girls are more than a bit Lego obsessed. They love building and creating. Also, they are always looking for new Lego kits to get to play with whenever possible. So much so, that one of the places that they beg us to take them to when we are at Disney is the Lego Store in Downtown Disney.
I mean they never miss a beat with Lego Store fun. Plus, when in Disney World how could you not check this store out. Seriously it is the holy grail for Lego Lovers! This Lego Store has it all with substantial lifesize Lego display creations.
So, of course, I recently couldn’t resist making fun and edible Lego Builder’s Treats for these two. I mean we don’t return to Disney now until the summer. Plus, it is winter and chilly here. So, indoor fun at home is entirely on tap. While the Lego duo can more than easily create and build with all their toy Legos, a foodie Lego treat was a must have for now.
Plus, this time out, I used food colors with vanilla icing. And I also used M&Ms for the Lego topping effect. So easy to make and yet look precisely like edible Legos!
These Lego Rice Krispie Treats were a huge hit here with my Lego Loving girls!
