I have a caramel melting pot, like a fondue type pot, and we tried it out last week. It went ok. We have extra caramel still!

What a fun mom you are. Oddly, I never liked caramel apples…so you wouldn’t be serving those to me if you were my mom…which would be weird, wouldn’t it, too weird for me to continue talking about. LOL Have a great weekend!

I’ve never had a caramel or candy apple. I know that sounds crazy but its true. I know I would love them because i love apples and anything that would enhance the sweet flavor. I like the addition of pretzels in your caramel apple bites. These caramel apple pie bombs…WOW

Someone needs to invest a month to try each of these, one day at a time. And write about it. I volunteer to taste test.

    Janine,
Caramel apple is so popular this Fall. I heard it was even more so than pumpkin this year. I not sure I believe it but I am a huge caramel apple fan. You may not know I am in the World Food Championships in November in the dessert category. I have created a special caramel apple dessert that I cannot wait to make. We will have an hour on the first round and then 50 minutes for the back to back second round.

Thanks for sharing all these amazing caramel apple recipes. I love everynone of them.

    Have a great weekend.
    Diane

Did you know that I’m allergic to apples, but I can drink apple juice? There’s something in the raw fruit that can kill me apparently. My kids on the other hand, especially Madison just LOVES caramel AND candy apples. I can quite possibly make her one.

That Caramel Apple Turkey is next level!
One of my fondest memories of being a Brownie (never made it to Girl Scouts) was making caramel apples in the fall. The BEST.

Christopher had his first caramel apple about this time last year. When he first got his spacer I had no idea he was going to have to wear it so long. At that point he’d never had one. As we’d see them from time to time, I told him I’d definitely treat him to one when he finally got his spacer off.

I remember having braces and a palate expander in my younger years and those were definitely a few sad years of no candy apples, corn on the cob and more, too!
