What better way to get into the Christmas spirit than taking in a lights show one evening? You can do this for free at London’s West End Christmas Lights, where the the lights are switched on early November in all the big stores on Oxford Street and Regent Street.

Speaking of window shopping, who doesn’t love to shop during the holiday season? I think I can say most do and if you are indeed in the need to shop for that special someone, London has many shopping fairs also up and running during the holiday times, too. Three well-known Christmas time fairs in London are as follows: The Spirit of Christmas Fair, Country Living Magazine Christmas Fair, and South Bank Christmas Market by the London Eye.
