My oldest has lost 6 teeth here so far. Tooth #5 actually came out on Splash Mountain in Disney World. But not so long ago, she was getting ready to lose her first tooth. But still yet, it seems like only yesterday that my same girl was teething.
However teething was almost lifetime ago in reality. Still, I remember it vividly.
See my oldest was quite miserable teething. I tried everything to help her with it.
A few things did however give her some relief with teething.
Therefore, thought I would share what worked for us below.
3 Natural Baby Teething Remedies
1. Cold and Pressure
The cold seems to help quite bit. As it numbs the irritated gum area. Plus, pressure helps soothe those same inflamed gums. Some examples of using cold and pressure are as follows:
- Frozen wash cloths
- Frozen fruit/veggies
- Cold spoon
- Teething biscuits
2. Herbal Remedies
For those looking for other natural ways to combat teething, Herbal remedies are also an option. See homeopathic methods have been used for years now. Some of the herbs that may help teething are as follows:
- Roseship for inflammation
- Chamomile to soothe and relax
- Catnip to soothe and also allow them to rest up
- Clove a natural anesthetic to numb teething pain

3. Fun and Colorful Teething Toys
Most babies do have toys to play with. But they actually make toys specifically designed for babies to not only play with but that are safe to put in their mouths to help with the side effects of teething. These toys can be chewed on and help to also soothe those painful teething gums.
One of the best teething toys right now is Polly Pineapple from GnomGnomsTM. GnomGnomsTM is a family run and owned business since 2015. Also, Polly Pineapple is an all-natural, multi-texture rubber teething toy that will help soothe a child’s gums through all stages of the teething process.
How does Polly Pineapple Teether work?
First, Polly’s various textures help massage sore gums. Like her crown and feet can be used to soothe hard-to-reach back molars. While her body and hands are perfect for front gums.
But why is Polly Pineapple Teether special?
Polly is also the perfect size for easy maneuvering for all little ones. Plus, Polly has a built-in loop so she doesn’t get lost and can be secured to a child’s stroller or carrier.
Is Polly Pineapple Teether safe for babies to chew on?
YES!!! See Polly is also made from 100% natural rubber. This means she is free from any dangerous chemicals like BPA, PVC, and phthalates. On top of this, Polly is decorated with food grade paint. This means all babies are free to safely teeth, as well as chew with abandon.
But wait there is more…
See she helps get babies more acclimated with healthy fruits and vegetables. Why? Because she is shaped like an adorable pineapple!
How can you get Polly Pineapple for your teething baby?
Polly Pineapple is available this Fall. Polly is also available for pre-order through their website and retails for $25. You can also find Polly on Facebook and Instagram.

Where was this when Madison was teething. While she wasn’t miserable it would certainly have helped. BTW Madison has that same toothless smile. π

I’m so GLAD we’re over THAT phase… man, it seemed to go on for a while!
My oldest barely blinked through teething but my youngest was miserable.
Thanks for sharing! I’ll have to make sure to tell my moms with young babes about this.

What a cute little teether! None of my kids ever really liked teething toys. The only thing that seemed to work were cold washcloths (and their fingers, of course). Thanks so much for sharing at the #happynowlinkup!
