5 Best Resorts For Adults At Walt Disney World
Boardwalk Inn
Boardwalk Inn is the perfect Hotel for adults who are kids at heart. This is a Disney Deluxe hotel and it’s great for families and kids of all ages.
However, it is not as appealing to children as maybe some of the other properties are. It’s theming and sense of fun are a bit more understated. The Boardwalk Inn has the best nightlife of any other Disney Resort.
There are fantastic dining, fun lounges, and a beautiful waterfront to stroll at night. Boardwalk also has some of the best villas for a romantic getaway.
You cannot forget where Boardwalk is located it is only a few steps ( about a 10 minute walk to Epcot’s back entrance – which drops you right into Epcot’s World Showcase). There are so many adult-friendly festivals throughout the year at Epcot’s World Showcase such as the Food and Wine festival around Fall time that there is always something for you to do just steps from your hotel room.
Four Seasons
Did you even know there was a Four Seasons at Walt Disney World? It’s near the Magic Kingdom resort area, just minutes from Fort Wilderness campsites! Let that irony sink in. Although there are quite a few non-Disney resorts that are actually on property, The Four Seasons is easily the top of the line in luxury. There is a gigantic pool, a Lazy River and plenty of other water features to enjoy outside, as well as style and spatial appeal on the inside.
Swan and Dolphin
This hotel is so conveniently located that it is such a surprise they are not owned by Disney. They are currently operated by Marriott and the hotel is a perfect Adult getaway right in the heart of Disney.
There is convenient water transportation to Hollywood Studios and to Epcot from the Swan and Dolphin. There is also plenty of fine dining and entertainment here ideal for adults.
Saratoga Springs
This Disney Resort hotel is situated away from the parks in the Disney Springs area. It’s secluded and one of the quieter Disney properties, which is perfect for enjoying the nightlife at Disney Springs and recuperating during the day. It’s just a boat ride away from the action. Saratoga Springs is the second deluxe resort in Walt Disney World to offer Spa services, which is another reason it is one of the best adult, Disney Resort options at Walt Disney World.
Coronado Springs
For the more budget-conscious, there are some moderate Disney resorts that are typically better for adults than the value resorts. However, among these, the best adult Disney Resort is clearly Coronado Springs. It’s located in the Animal Kingdom Resort area. The All-Star resorts and the Animal Kingdom Lodge take most of the families with kids in this area. Coronado Springs is beautiful, sprawling and exotic. There is currently construction on a new tower here, but many parts of the property remain fairly quiet. Coronado Springs has more of a business vibe as many conventions take place here.

Walt Disney World Resort cast members celebrate the grand opening of the new Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., July 9, 2019. The opening of the tower also marks the completion of a multiyear re-imagining of Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, which offers new restaurants, recreational amenities, club-level services, and new arrival experience.
