Do you remember when we recently discussed that McDonald’s was the place to be for the kiddos?
Still what about for moms?
Well, McDonald’s definitely is the place for moms to be, as well. See I do believe most moms love McDonald’s, myself included.
But why is McDonald’s the happening place right about now for moms?
Check out our 5 reasons why moms love McDonald’s too now…
1. McDonald’s Premium Salads for the win.
While the kids feast on their McDonald’s Chicken Nuggets, moms can enjoy McDonald’s Premium Salads for a nice, lighter summer meal alternative.
See over the past two years, McDonald’s has changed how their sources, prepares and evolves. Therefore, this has impacted nearly half of the items on its national menu, especially McDonald’s Premium Salads.
Now, they indeed offer premium salads that they have since replaced iceberg lettuce with fresh romaine, baby spinach, baby kale, Tuscan red leaf lettuce and ribbon-cut carrot curls. Plus, McDonald’s Premium Salads also offer at least 2.5 cups of vegetables.
Right now, they are offering either Bacon Ranch or Southwest Salad topped with either buttermilk crispy or grilled chicken. Of you could just get a side salad, as well. By the way, their buttermilk crisp chicken is made with 100% chicken breast filet, real buttermilk and a blend of spices including black pepper, garlic and onion powder.
So what isn’t there for moms to love about McDonald’s Premium salads?!

2. McCafe drinks are also an added bonus.
Still for a treat, moms can’t go wrong with their McCafe iced beverages for the summer time. I mean while I love a good salad, especially in the summer months. Sometimes, you may crave a sweeter and colder treat. In these times, McDonald’s has moms covered with their cold McCafe drinks, such as their shakes, smoothies and frappes, too!
My favorite happens to be McCafe Frappe Chocolate Chip. Why? Because this old treat has everything including chocolate. What more can I say?! I mean most moms love their icy, cold beverages, too.
3. The kids never complain.
It helps to be able to go out to eat as a family to a place where the kids are more than happy to go to.
So, I know I touched on this in my previous article about McDonald’s with my own kids. But honestly, my own kids beg to go there. They also love their Chicken Nuggets, Happy Meals and the playground, as well. Therefore, this mom loves that it is so easy to take her kids to McDonald’s. So a win-win!
4. Free Wi-Fi for all.
While the kids happily play on the playground, this mom takes advantage of the free wi-fi to answer some work related emails peacefully. Because sometimes, work is unavoidable. Especially this is true during the summer months when my kids are home for summer vacation.
See I usually work around their school schedule. But in the summer, I have to do my best to work, while having them home, as well. McDonald’s is a great place to take my kids for meal. But also for some time on the playground. Because they entertain themselves, while I can use that free Wi-Fi to attend to some low level work needs. Again my mom love for McDonald’s is high indeed.
5. Location, location, location.
When it doubt you can always find a McDonald’s locally. If you don’t believe me, check out their app to find a McDonald’s near you now.
Plus, you can find even more out about your local tri-state McDonald’s on Twitter and Instagram, too.

Janine,
I think we lived at McDonald’s when my kids were small. They loved playing in their indoor play place. I loved it because I could sit inside the air conditioner and watched them while they played. Today, we stop by their way to much for dessert. My son, Caleb has always loved their M&M’s McFlurry and I love the hot fudge sundae. YUM! I will have to try a Southwestern salad soon. It sounds delish! I love spicy food.
Thanks for sharing,
Diane
Janine says
Aw, so happy to share with you, Diane and hope you try the Southwestern salad, too now 😉

McDonald’s are always the places we look for when we’re traveling…because their bathrooms tend to be cleaner than some of the competition! It may sound silly, but with loudmouth little ones and one still in diapers, having a clean bathroom is important. (I’m serious about the loudmouth part…one of my kids once walked out of a public bathroom shouting “It smells like a barnyard in there!” at the top of her lungs.) Thanks so much for sharing at the #happynowlinkup!
Janine says
Aw, happy to share and your comment totally made me smile btw, too 🙂

Our grandchildren love McDonalds. When we first came to America in 1975 my brother and I couldn’t wait to go to a McDonalds. We had heard about them and new it was going to be a magical place to eat ( wink) we had a big mac! I think it cost about 75 cents then.We had to wait a few days but I remember we were very happy about our food purchases. Our oldest grandson loves their salads. Hubby and I always stop by for a breakfast muffin when we are on a road trip. hugs!
Janine says
