I have made no secret here how my family and I love traveling, especially to Walt Disney World. We do our best though to take trips to Disney and also shorter family trips, as often as possible because it is so imperative to get away as a family unit at times.
While traveling though there is a chance to be exposed germs that may cause illness, there are ways to avoid these so-called germs and stay healthy while still away. For example, using Nice ‘n CLEAN Antibacterial Hand Wipes, such as these can indeed be a huge help.
But there are also a few more tried and true ways to stay healthy. So, check out my excellent tips on how to stay healthy while traveling with your family.

5 Tips to Stay Healthy While Traveling with Your Family
1. Wet Wipes fight the germs best.
Did you know 80% of common infections spread by hands? Nice ‘n CLEAN Antibacterial Hand Wipes kill 99.99% of germs and remove soil and bacteria from hands and hard surfaces alike. See if you want to stop those germs from the onset, then Nice ’n CLEAN Antibacterial Hand Wipes are the way to go. See Wet wipes are a serious mom-hack. I happen to carry them in my travel backpack at all times.
You may be wondering why I don’t just carry gel hand sanitizer. Well, for starters wipes are better than gels. But how exactly? Because 80% of common infections spread by hands. Once again, Nice ’n CLEAN Antibacterial Hand Wipes Kills 99.99% of germs, as well as removes soil and bacteria from hands and surfaces. Gels don’t do this at all!
Moreover, Nice ’n CLEAN Antibacterial Hand Wipes are natural, safe and trusted, too! See they made with TENCEL®, a 100% plant-based fiber, proven to remove 99% of peanut residue from hard surfaces, and are also the leader in the wipes as they have been making wipes for over 61 years.
2. Don’t Forget to Eat Well and Stay Hydrated.
Even though you are on vacation, you still want to eat balanced meals whenever possible. Plus, you also can always pack some healthier snack options. That is yet another thing I make sure to have in my travel backpack.
Along with eating proper meals and snacks, staying as hydrated as possible is also an essential component to keeping healthy on vacation. See drinking water, and healthier liquids, such as coconut water or even fruit smoothies helps to keep the germs from attacking.
3. Be sure to take your vitamins.
Just because you are on vacation, doesn’t mean you should take a vacation from your daily multi-vitamin. I also recommend adding more Vitamin C, while on vacation. As these essential vitamins also are aid your immune system in staying as healthy as it can. You can find vitamins and supplements from suppliers like Herbalife products that should keep you healthy and balanced nutritiously while on vacation.
4. Layers are always a must.
Right now, it is still practically winter time. Even if you travel further south, you may be surprised how cooler temperatures still find their way to warmer climates. See recently, my family and I revisited Disney. I was keeping a close eye on the weather.
It had been extremely hot right that week there. But the night before we left for Florida, the temperatures dropped into the 40s. The first night of our vacation, it was downright chilly and windy. Layers indeed were our friend.
Granted winter and colder months beget layers. But still, no matter what time of the year you do travel, you will want to make sure you pack layers just in case. Even a light sweatshirt for the cooler nights or even air-conditioned spaces means the difference between catching a chill or worse.
5. Just relax.
You are on vacation or at least a bit of a break. So, do what you can to relax and enjoy this time away with your family. Take this time to reconnect and be in the moment, as much as possible.
There you have it with five simple, but effective ways to keep your own family healthy for all those family trips you take now or even later, too!
