Can’t Believe It Has Been 10 Years…Happy Anniversary to Us!!

Thirteen years ago, this month, Kevin and I met and went out on our first date.  For those, who haven’t heard the story, you can click here to read the whole story on how we met that I wrote and published on Hubpages over 5 years ago.

I still can’t quite believe that was 13 years ago this month, but then again today is the 10th anniversary of our wedding day.  Back on July 8, 2006, Kevin and I said our “I do’s” and through the good, bad and crazy times, we are still going strong.  As most know it was a beautiful, warm sunny day and just perfect by all means.

After our wedding, we honeymooned in the Bahamas at Sandals.  Seriously, it was a fabulous honeymoon and truly paradise.  I hope someday, we can return!!

I originally wrote this post a year ago on our 7th wedding anniversary, but thought I would share it once again today.  We had an early celebration last night going out for dinner and drinks at one of our favorite local restaurants.

And tonight, we are finishing getting ready to head to Disney World with our girls for the week.  Probably packing and just taking it easy.  But still so very excited about that and hoping to make so more wonderful memories together on this trip.

Right now though, I wanted to re-share some pictures over the years of us here with you all on our 10th anniversary, as well as my recipe for a great marriage, which you can check out here.

And to Kevin, I love you my scooch (yes it is a word and only he would get this!) and Happy 10th Anniversary!!

    WTG to both of you! I so remember my 7th anniversary because I kept thinking about "the seven year itch"….yeah that's B.S. didn't happen:).       Thanks Richard and we actually went out Friday night to have dinner out for a bit, while Kevin's parents watched the kids, which was pretty nice. Today, I have a feeling we will be in the pool with them again in a bit and not sure what else yet, but just hoping for another fun day to cap off the end of our holiday weekend. And thank for the pointer, too lol!! πŸ™‚

    Sorry I'm only getting to this now! I totally love this post and all of the wonderful photos you put together to show the years of yours and Kevin's love. It's beautiful. I just want to congratulate you and Kevin on your 7th Anniversary and truly hope that today is a wonderful day so far for you both and the girls. How nice that Kevin is off on Mondays during the summer! It was hard to have RJ go back to work today after being off for almost a week. But now it's back to work!       Oh so happy to hear you too have your husband home on Mondays. Totally was happy that he took Mondays instead of Fridays, because of FTSF. Must admit it was weird to play hooky for part of the day today, but was kind of nice, too. And I am so with you and love seeing other people's photos, so was very happy to share!! πŸ™‚
