Only a few days out from another Memorial Day. I am honestly hoping the weather is nicer than it was for the last so-called holiday with Mother’s Day. See this past Mother’s Day it rained the whole day, plus two plus days after it. The temperatures were downright unseasonal with it being in the 40s here in NY!
OK, maybe those 40s felt even colder for me as I was only in Disney World, experiencing 90 degrees a few short days before. But still, a high of 40 degrees in May isn’t normal for this time of the year.
I am longing for outdoor cookouts, 80 degrees and warmth to be honest. I honestly don’t think that is too much to ask for at the end of May. Do you?

Anyway, with Memorial Day and 4th of July on tap for the next big holiday, I am also planning for all things Patriotic. So, this time of the year, I am making Patriotic foods, such as HERE and HERE.
But, this year, I want to make a newer recipe that I never made before for the most patriotic days of the year.
So, I decided to go with American Flag Graham Cracker Patriotic Treats. I mean American Flags are a given for both holidays. Because they are most definitely patriotic.
For these American Flags, I used graham crackers as the base of the flag. Then, I decorated the graham crackers, white frosting, red and blue M&Ms, and gold stars, too.
See how easy I made these American Flag Graham Cracker Treats?
How about it? Do you want to make them for Memorial Day, 4th of July or both?
