It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

Filed Under: BLOG, Blog Hop, Christmas, Christmas Tree, Decorating, Family Life, Sponsored Posts Tagged With: Blog Hop, Christmas, December, decorating, King of Christmas, tree, Wonderful Wordless Wednesday

*I received a free Christmas tree to necessitate my review.  All opinions are my own and also please note that if you do click some of the links below and purchase from King of Christmas, I will receive a small commission from all sales.*

It is officially the month of December and Christmas decorating commenced this past weekend.

I know Lily’s 4th Birthday, Thanksgiving, and Black Friday were all last week.

Lily blowing Out Candles

We partied it up at Lily’s 4th birthday, but now onto…

But yesterday was December 1st and around these parts, it is very much ‘LOOKING A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS’.

See after getting our party on, eating some turkey and even getting in some holiday annual Black Friday shopping, we spent Saturday afternoon decorating the house.

The tree and all the trimmings went up.  Plus bonus Sunday, the girls mailed their letters to Santa and then even got to meet Santa again for this year (more on that next week – I promise).

Its beginning to look a lot like #Christmas @christmasboss with #christmastree decorating and more

But in case, you missed it we got a brand new 6 Foot Scarlet Fir Pre-Lit LED Christmas tree courtesy of King of Christmas, who I recently got to share their earlier Christmas tree giveaway, here.

King of Christmas Scarlet Fir 6 Foot Tree

Loving our brand new Christmas Tree – Thanks to King of Christmas!

The tree is absolutely festively gorgeous and just as described by King of Christmas is:

“Beautifully realistic with full branches in a rich shade of green, the Scarlet Fir looks gorgeous wrapped in garlands and red velvet bows. Shipped fully assembled, the Scarlet Fir Christmas Tree is ready for shaping right out of the box with its strong branches and hinged construction. A premium quality tree, the Scarlet Fir  is designed to look just like a natural fir tree with finely detailed tips that are full and soft to the touch. Transform your home into a fairytale setting throughout the Christmas season with a splendid Scarlet Fir Christmas Tree.”

In a nutshell, I can’t thank King of Christmas for allowing us to select this brand new Christmas Tree, as we were long overdue for a newer, updated tree and this was not only the perfect timing for it, but divine centerpiece for our Christmas decorating.

For added piece of mind for those in the market for new artificial trees this Christmas, please not that all their trees (ours included) come with a Worry-Free Five Year Foliage and Two Year Light Limited Warranty.

So, definitely can’t go wrong with getting your tree through King of Christmas.

Now, I couldn’t resist though to show a few gratuitous closeups of our tree, which was decorated with the help of The Princesses with some of this year’s added on ornaments and a few more special decorating touches for our home, too!

Take a look below now:

I’m not ready to deal with Christmas yet, but it looks like you are doing enough for both of us, so thanks for taking care of that for me. 🙂 Happy Upcoming Wednesday to you, and that picture of Lily is precious.

Wow – your tree looks absolutely amazing. I love those personalized ornaments.. especially with the year on them. It’s a great way to relive family history every year, and to see how we looked at previous Christmases. I treasure some of our early ornaments more now than ever. We started buying ornaments as vacation souvenirs and that has been a wonderful way to remember the places we’ve been. What a tremendous collection of posts here – cheers:)

It sure is looking a lot like Christmas in your house. We haven’t really decorated since once again we’ll be spending Christmas outside of the US. That’s a beautiful Christmas tree and now I know where to get a tree for the following year. Seems it’s Christmas on most blogs today including my own where I highlighted Christmas books. 🙂

Decorating the tree is my favorite. It’s like a walk down memory lane with all the ornaments and when you got them. A little surprised your entire tree wasn’t Frozen themed 🙂

Nice tree, Janine! We’ve been getting real trees every year since moving to Germany, and I just love how they smell and change the air in the room. In the U.S. we’ve also had a pre-lit artificial tree, which I was amazed by since I was previously completely against artificial trees. Love your ornaments, especially the snowman family ornament, so cute!!

Your tree and decorations are GORGEOUS Janine! I love it.

I’ve been harassing my hubby for a pre-lit tree. I can’t stand the tedious task of putting up lights.

Thanks for sharing. I loved seeing your festive home.

Your tree is gorgeous & I love all the Frozen ornaments. Lol! I love the convenience of an artificial tree myself. I have had many bad experiences with the fresh cut ones. I will never do one again. Our tree is pretty old. We need an upgrade as well. I will have to look at these.
