Sometimes in the blogosphere, you get to know other bloggers and mothers through their compassionate and inspirational writing.
This happened to me, when I got the chance last year to check out Kerri’s blog, Undiagnosed by Okay. I was hooked from the first post, I met and try my best to read and keep up with each of her blog posts about her life with both of her daughters.
As luck would have it. Kerri, recently e-mailed me to ask if I would be up for sharing my greatest challenge in my life right now. See she has been running a weekly blog series on people’s challenges and asked me to contribute. To say, I was honored would be an understatement as I have been reading and following along with her series quite captivated but all the tales shared.
But I wasn’t sure how I would answer the call of duty on this one, as my recent days have been just downright chaotic.
Why you may ask, well to find this out and my challenge, please click here or the image below now..
Last, but not least I am feeling quite honored and humbled tonight that I received notification, that I was nominated for one of the top 50 Stay-At-Home Mom Blogs at Voice Boks. I was nominated either by another blogger or a staff member. Not sure which, but huge thank you to whoever did and not begging, but if you could spare a vote for me, please click the badge below DAILY (yes you can vote more then once each day!):

You do have a challenging life, Janine! But you are doing well and everyone is surviving. As stressful and demanding it is to work from home….especially during summer vacation with the girls home and the puppy to train……you are juggling it all and keeping your head above the water. I admire your fortitude…..I never could imagine being a working mom and keeping my sanity! You’re doing it all and doing it well! I’m very proud of you! Lots of love….and keep up the good work…..

Hi Janine! I visited your link to read about your greatest challenge. I’m so glad that all will begin to settle down soon for you with kids going back to school. I sent your American Girl Doll post link to my friend’s two daughters who are seriously into it over here in South Africa. Rozelle, the eldest daughter, even makes lots of clothes for their dolls. Here’s her YouTube channel with all things American Girl Doll, short movies that the two sisters make along with one friend… https://www.youtube.com/user/Rozelledance

My challenge this summer has been juggling all the kids’ camps and trips. They are fun for the kids and work out as great child care so that I can work, but some days I get a little dizzy trying to remember who needs to be where and when!

Man, oh man, I thought summer would be easy breezy with having my elder child home. Although I get a few minutes to sit and think, I also spend more time monitoring, directing, asking, and chasing. When I finally get the down time, I just sit. I know I have work to do, but I just sit there and do nothing. On top of not getting sleep, I just don’t know how long I can last. But school starts in a couple of weeks and D’s schedule is 45 minutes longer in the day. So, hopefully all of that will help!

Sometimes having to work at home, I know how impossible it can be when your little one is asking for your attention. It must be even harder with two. Great post as always & what an honor to be asked to share your story.
