Here is the deal, I am not going to sugar coat it. Life has been absolutely crazy here. Between working full time for Wiser Sites and my kids home learning full time with remote learning, my days definitely aren’t dull. Don’t get me wrong, I love my job and happy that my girls are here safe and sound at home. But chaos rules daily here this fall.

We thought it was healing and then ended up having the same retina detach. So, back to the eye doctor, he went to have more surgery. This time, full anesthesia with a minimum of two weeks’ recovery time and see life has been interesting around these parts, to say the least.

When I get stressed, I like to bake. Honestly, the thought of sweet treats in the oven calms my nerves. So, I decided to try a new cookie recipe. Because baking cookies is probably my all-time favorite treats to bake.

So, I decided to make chocolate cherry cookies for him. Of course, my girls and I were also happy to help him enjoy these cookies, too.
So, how about it? Do you want to make these cookies, too?
