Every year at this time, a very good friend of mine has her annual Cookie Swap Party. This party is something I look forward to annually. Not only do we each try our hand at baking a cookie concoction for this event. But we play games, eat yummy food, participate in a fun holiday-themed grab bag and more.
The First Year’s Cookie
The first year, I was invited I made my Peppermint Hershey Kiss Cookies. Of course, I blogged about these cookies.that year as I decided why not share the recipe here, as well.
Year Two’s Cookie
The following year, I made the easiest shortbread cookies. Again, I blogged about this cookie recipe. Which to this day is probably one of my most well-received recipes and overall articles.
Last Year’s Cookie Swap Cookie
Last year, I made my Meringue Teaser Cookies. Again, these appeared on my blog, as well.
Drumroll for this year’s Cookie Swap Cookie!
So, this year, the cookie stakes were high. Which cookie would I make? Well, last year I had tried a new cookie recipe for my family well after the cookie swap party. My daughters loved this cookie so much. Because they were made with melted chocolate chips and rolled in powdered sugar. I mean what is not to love about chocolate and powdered sugar?
When the time came for deciding upon a cookie for this year’s current Cookie Swap Party, I knew what cookie I needed to bake. That’s right, chocolate crinkle cookies were it.
Plus, I couldn’t resist blogging about these chocolate crinkle cookies.
First of all, this chocolate crinkle cookies recipe is deliciously scrumptious and also so easy to make. If you follow the step-by-step recipe instructions, you can’t go wrong with these cookies.
