I had some very fond memories of Cinnamon Rolls when I was younger. See my mom used to make Cinnamon Rolls for my brother and me when we were kids. It was one of my favorite dessert recipes that my mom made. I can still recall even after all the years, the smell of warm cinnamon sugar wafting throughout our home. I can also still very much taste the warm, right out of the oven-baked, gooey sweet cinnamon rolls.

So, I have very fond memories of cinnamon rolls at dessert time in my youth.
But that was then, and this is now.
Now, I am the mom. Of course, my kids have my sweet tooth. They are continually looking for a sweet treat for a snack. I enjoy making muffins and cupcakes for this reason.
For this reason, I recently made Cinnamon Roll Muffins. See Cinnamon Rolls inspired this. Plus, I couldn’t resist making muffins with this classic flavor, as well.
What was born here was just amazing. I knew I had to share here.
The muffins part of my recipe is so straightforward to make. I used a simple muffin recipe. But I made sure my cinnamon roll muffins had enough vanilla extract and nutmeg, too.
As for the cinnamon swirl, I used brown sugar, cinnamon (of course) and butter, too.
And what Cinnamon Roll muffins would be complete without a sweet glaze? Well, my Cinnamon Roll Muffins have the perfect glaze with powdered sugar, a bit more vanilla and milk, as well.
The result once these are all put together are the most delicious Cinnamon Roll Muffins ever.
Are you ready to taste a bit of Cinnamon Roll Muffin heaven?
Then, go ahead and read on for the recipe now.

Oh how I love cinnamon rolls. Unfortunately I am allergic to cinnamon, which I find to be a cruel joke by Nature. π I’ll pass this on to friends, though, who will love it.
Wishing you a brilliant Monday, my friend!
Janine says
Aw, so sorry to hear and not sure how I’d survive if I were allergic to cinnamon as it really is one of my favorite spices. That said, at least happy you can pass these onto friends if nothing else. Happy Monday once again π
