I am not sure about you, but I truly enjoy updating all my readers here with my “Currently” posts. Therefore, I thought I’d make this a monthly feature here.
This is my way of giving you backstage access to all that is going on behind the scenes in my blogging, design and overall life.
Here it is now “Currently” February 2017. I know seems like yesterday that I was updating all here for January.
But still a month later and although it is winter here we have had a mild one so far. So much so that I can’t complain. I mean it was 60 degrees this past Wednesday. Granted, we had over a foot of snow the very next day. But still 60 in February in NY is like gold!

It is the middle of February with only about 3 weeks until Daylight Savings time beginning, so I am beginning to see the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel for another winter here.
But before I get away from myself, sit back now for the February 2017 edition.
Reading…
For those who missed it, I took the Goodreads challenge again for this year with 60 books being my magic number. Right now, I am at 7 books read.
So, not too shabby. I have been on a YA book kick with having read a few more from John Green. I also had A Study in Charlotte, by Brittany Cavallaro on my list.
I got lucky on this one having recently found a deal from Bookbub where the ebook was on sale for $1.99. I jumped and paid the $1.99 as the library waitlist was at least a few week out on this one.
While I don’t want to review it here now. I save that for another day. However, so far I am enjoying this modern day take on Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson with a tale centered around their teenage great-great-great-kids.
Watching…
Might sound like a broken record, but still watching NBC’s This Is Us. What more than I can say that you need to watch this one if you don’t. Seriously, I cannot remember a show that has had this impact on me. Therefore, I just couldn’t recommend it more if I tried!
Excited for the much hyped return of HBO’s Girls, this past weekend as I have watched from the beginning and this is the final season. Not sure how much more crazy, Lena Dunham and The Girls ensemble can bring, but have a feeling that they will do that and than some.
Listening…
Lady Gaga!
I am not even a big football fan, but yes I do watch the Super Bowl usually for the commercials and half time show.
This year, Lady Gaga brought it! Seriously from her patriotic rendition to her roof top jumping and more, I am once again listening to her music while work during the day. Don’t get me wrong, have always been a fan, but this just reminded me why I was.
Eating…
Cream Puffs, plus Bigelow Vanilla Chai Tea! I mean need I say more after I recently shared this awesome, tea drinking inspired recipe…
Mini Mac And Cheese Bites aren’t far behind either, because my picky eater most definitely recommends…
Wearing…
I might be slightly addicted and obsessed with Lularoe right now. Shh! Don’t rat me out to my husband, but I may have a drawer full of their butter leggings and tops to match, too now!
Working On…
Still enjoying tinkering with my new camera for my blogging and more. But I also have been quite busy with design clients with updates for past clients, as well as helping some newer clients, too with redesigns, transfers and more.
One such newer client, I have had the pleasure to work with is The Healthy Girl’s Kitchen, who I had the pleasure of moving from Blogger BlogSpot over to her new home at her own self-hosted WordPress blog now.

Dreaming…
This one still finds my heart not far from Disney. I may have not one, but two trips planned for this year. One in the summer (which we have been doing for 3 years now at this time) and also another later on in the year.
The second is closer to the holidays and am so excited to see Disney decorated for the holidays. So stay tuned for more to come as it unfolds here.
Well, that’s it for now for me.

I was laughing so hard at Melissa’s SNL skit! HYSTERICAL! I’m never disappointed with Lady Gaga. Did you ever see her in American Horror Story: Hotel ?

Sounds like we have a lot of the same things going on. I finally gave in and bought two pairs of LulaRoe leggings and I can see how the obsession became. BTW we also have 2 more trips planned for Disney too. Summer and one again later as well. I wonder if it’s the same thing we’re planning.

I love This Is Us. This week’s episode slayed me. Lady Gaga rocked the Super Bowl! And as a Patriots fan, it was the best super Bowl evah! Oh, and SNL has definitely become must see TV. Although, I watch on Sunday morning!

LOVE This is Us – dont’ remember being this addicted to a TV show since Friends in college! 🙂 Those cream puffs look amazing. OMG so I’m very much loving This is Us, and WOW it’s so so so good. Also though your videos from SNL. LOVE. I’m so afraid all of the time but these videos, they give me hope, you know? Yay Lady Gaga but the superbowl? I was hoping for the not-trump-supporters which I know. I am a Broncos fan… but still hoped that Tom Brady, as cute as he is, would lose.

Kristi, I am not a big football fan at all and I admit I didn’t watch the game rooting for either team. Instead, I watched for the commercials and the half-time show. I am more of a baseball fan by far and excited that spring training is almost upon us now. That said, though This Is Us seriously has become a Tuesday night ritual for me and think in three short weeks when the final happens, I will be lost on Tuesdays in all honesty.

Oh Janine this was SO MUCH FUN to read!! I feel like I too got inspired once again by Lady Gaga’s INCREDIBLE performance at the super bowl! She was AMAZING and I love her EVEN more- because of it.
As for This Is Us- okay, so I’ve been taping it on my DVR at the insistence of many friends and have yet to find time to watch it! I HOPE I GOT EVERY SHOW… I’m so worried I didn’t record them all because I started taping it late! I need to get to this- I have heard SO much about it!
Cade and I just watched the video you shared about it, (AW!) and we were both mesmerized. Okay- I am doing it ASAP. (Just as soon as we’re done with Regional Champs this weekend. lol)

Just wanted to stop by and say hi! Was sick and dealing with work stuff and my sis was in the hospital. All is well now, though. Been a bit of a crazy week.

This is Us has changed my life. Hands down, it’s the best show I’ve ever watched in my life. I’m so sad the season is over, but glad it has been renewed for another 2 seasons! I’m so happy for the cast and the writers and the directors. It’s just absolutely amazing. Yes I’m gushing! I think I cried at every episode. The acting is phenomenal too. Kate and Randall are my favorite characters and actors.
