As we are quickly approaching the Christmas season now. It is time to begin decorating your home for the season.
One of the the Christmas decorating essentials is hanging Christmas stockings for our whole family.
In our family, as many who follow my blog know that we are a family of five, including myself, my husband, our two girls and our 2 1/12 year old golden retriever dog, Elsa.
For the holidays, I try to always do something special for her by treating her.
Like for instance, Halloween I make her own doggie trick-or-treat goodie bag.
Well, for Christmas, I always make sure she isn’t lacking in the gift department, especially with having her very own stocking stuffed with all sorts of doggie treats.
In order to make a homemade DIY Doggie Stocking for our dog, I shopped at Target for supplies. Which was very convenient, as I am a big Target shopper that even has been known to visit our local store a few times a week.
Also I am even a RedCard holder, which make shopping that much easier. I shop there for all sorts of things, including Purina Dog Food and/or treats for our golden retriever.
But why Purina?
See Purina believes living is bigger when pets are involved.
But what does that mean?
Well to Purina pets enrich our lives in multiple ways, because of this we’re the better for it.
But what makes Purina dog food special?
Because Purina is more than just dog food. How so? Well, their unique product ranges of food and treats each have their own flavors, recipes, features and blends so you can truly treat your doggie family member with something they love, and that’s the best fit for them.
Still, I have discussed in the past that our dog is a bit of a picky eater. She gets tired easily of eating the same blend. One of the things, I love about Purina dog food for Elsa is that they have a nice variety of blends. So, we can switch up the blend and Elsa doesn’t tire of the food we serve her at meal-time.
Therefore, we usually switch between PurinaONE varieties and even Purina Beneful, as well.
Plus, we are also big believers of treating our special doggies with dog treats throughout the week here.
Purina, has us covered with doggie treats, such as Purina Beneful Baked Delights Heartfuls Apple & Bacon or even Purina Beyond White Meat Chicken Cutlets Natural Dog Snacks.
And what better time than now to treat your doggie family member and surprise them this Christmas to their very own DIY Christmas stocking filled with a variety of doggie inspired goodies.
So, happily sharing below a very simple, but fun tutorial for that now.

And your doggie does better than mine. We can’t change a THING about his food. It makes him all sick. Haha (not really.)
And I can’t believe we’re having another Christmas already. It seems like we blinked and it was Christmas last year. 😛
In any case, Happy Tuesday! Sending you hugs!
Janine says
Aw, our dog it a strange bird at times and I know I had heard some dogs do get sick if you switch food. But for her, we just make sure to mix in new food as we do introduce as if she gets bored of the food then she won’t eat and has done so since she was a puppy like this Also shocked that Christmas is approaching once again, too! Happy Tuesday right back at you and hugs, as well!! <3
