Do you want to make an easy morning breakfast with Overnight Cranberry Eggnog Oatmeal?
Christmas morning will be here before we know it. If Christmas mornings are anything like ours here, then breakfast is something that gets lost in the shuffle.
With young kids, gift opening is what takes center stage. As quickly as the paper can be ripped off, the toys and more still need to be opened properly. This can take quite a bit longer.
Therefore, breakfast preparation is not something that there seems to be enough hours in the day on Christmas.
So, I have had to find ways to get around this. One year, I made a Cinnamon Bun Christmas Tree made out of Pillsbury Cinnamon Buns. While this was easy enough, I still had to put this together before baking in the oven.
This year, I decided I was going to Overnight Cranberry Eggnog Oatmeal. What’s not to love about cranberry and eggnog for Christmas time? I mean Eggnog especially is a holiday staple around here!
Why?
Because this warm, hearty and delicious breakfast can be prepared the night before. So I don’t have to worry about any prep work for this on Christmas morning.
See I can simply add all my ingredients in my Instant Pot using the crockpot/slow cooker setting. Then, I leave it over night to cook up.
Plus, I can keep it warm in the Instant Pot while we open gifts and more Christmas morning.
See the perfect easy, Christmas morning breakfast without the Christmas morning breakfast prep work. Bonus this one can made pretty much al winter long for an easy morning breakfast, too!
Simple and genius, right?!
