To be 5 years old again and have all the wonder and amazement that comes along with being this age!
Yes, it was Emma’s 5th birthday last week as most who follow my blog know, And yes, it had to be Frozen theme all the way from reading this post.
It was pretty much the perfect day for her and to be honest, she ended up not only getting the Frozen Party the day of her birthday, but getting to go to American Girl Doll with lunch out in NYC for the first time ever in her little life that following Saturday, as well. See, we are very lucky to live about 45 minutes away from NYC by train and hope this is the first of many treks into NYC for her now.
I have tons of pictures to share from both days, as well as experiences through the photos and thought I would split it up into two separate posts, because it is photo overload for sure.
So, today, I am sharing all the photos from her Frozen Birthday party that lived up to the Frozen hype and excitement she has had in her 5 year old mind and also please keep your eyes open in the next few days for the second post that includes all of the American Girl Celebration from the past weekend we had as well, too.
But now, onwards and upwards for Emma’s 5th Birthday Party, where she Let It Go for an amazingly wonderful fairy tale birthday party adventure.

Aw, how sweet! Emma looks so happy π I actually grew up a 45-minute train ride from NYC (to which I’m currently en route as I write this comment, actually), though growing up for whatever reason we didn’t go into the city that often, and never by train. It sounds like a fun activity to do with the girls, though!

I can see why you were talking about editing photos! Party photos are no joke. They are numerous.
This looks like such a nice party for such a great age, and how awesome to have cousins at your birthday party?
My first cousin came with her family to Scarlet’s party and it was completely special.
Emily says
Such great smiles AND a great looking birthday cake too! π I’m embarrassed to admit that I still haven’t seen “Frozen.” I’ve been trying to convince my boys to watch it, but of course they think it’s too girly or baby-ish. I’m clearly going to have to watch it by myself. Hey and congrats on your nomination too – that’s awesome!
