As a little girl, I loved playing dress up. So it was no surprise that when I first found out I was having a little girl that I was excited to get to dress her up. Once I had Emma, there was truly no stopping me. I would go from baby store to baby store and always find something and never left empty handed.
When Emma was about six months old, I was in the local The Children’s Place shopping on my lunch break. I found the cutest winter wonderland outfit. It consisted of a sweater dress, matching tights, and hat. I also had recently bought a pair of flower Pediped Shoes.
We took pictures of her almost everyday that first year, too. So, as soon as I dressed her in this outfit, I broke the camera out and we started to shoot pictures of her. What ensued were some of the most adorable pictures and am sharing here today. These pictures were taken back in January 2010.
Emma was all smiles, found her shoes and have to tell you she loved this outfit, I think almost as much as I loved dressing her in it!!
About a year later, she obviously no longer fit into this outfit But Lily was about 3 months old, when I dressed he in this outfit, too. Believe it or not it fit Lily, because she was a bit bigger for her age and even though Emma wore this when she was a few months older the previous year, she was indeed smaller for her age. So stands to reason, Lily wore this outfit at a younger age.
Lily, who was younger sat in her Boppy pillow, while I took these pictures, as well as being held by my mom. I still love this outfit and I am sure I have it somewhere in our attic. I will tell you that even after I go through all their baby clothes this will probably be one of the few outfits I won’t get rid of, because I just loved how both girls looked in it.

That outfit is adorable!! I'm in love with the brightness and colors. I have a few outfits like that, that I could never get rid of because I loved them on Sofia too much. We'll see if I get to wear any of those cute outfits on the next baby or not!
