*I received a free BloomsyBox bouquet for review purposes, but all opinions here are my own.

We have all heard the phrase, “April showers, bring May Flowers.”

Well, it is indeed that time of the year and we have already changed the clocks and the first day of Spring is approaching on March 21st here.

So, it would make sense that I would have flowers on my mind and thought it would be fun to list a few reasons why having flowers in the home are the perfect addition to your living space.

BloomsyBox_Flowers

  2. Fragrance, Fragrance, Fragrance – Their scent has a calming effect and fresh flowers really do just happen to smell that much better.
  3. Time for Spring Cleaning – What better way to inspire and motivate to get some much needed spring cleaning done.
  4. Enjoy The Season – This is simply a way to further enjoy the upcoming Spring season and get the spring flower offerings to enjoy in your very own home.
  5. Why not flowers? – Seriously, get flowers just because. I mean do we really need a reason to have fresh flowers in our home.

I most certainly do love spring flowers. Those gerber daisies are such happy flowers, aren’t they? I have a friend who always has fresh flowers in her home and I’m always impressed. I have plants, but haven’t really gotten into the flower habit yet.

That’s kind of cool. After yesterday’s storm I could use some cheering up. My goodness we got hit hard….wettest winter ever here…..sigh!

    Have a great Monday, Janine!

    • Janine says

      March 14, 2016 at 9:56 am

Aw, I would so share some of these flowers with you, Bill if we lived closer and so sorry about the storm. We have had a weird winter here, as well. Only one real big snow storm and now the last week it has been a very warm March with temperatures topping almost 70 degrees. Not complaining, just weird though. Happy Monday once again!! 🙂

  17. Kenya G. Johnson says

    March 14, 2016 at 3:47 pm

Those are beautiful! I’m allergic to “Spring” so I have to be selective with flowers. When I was getting married I thought I was going to have to carry fake ones but the florist we went to see assured me that the arrangement for my bouquet would be fine. I love the look of flowers but if I can smell them that’s the bad part. 🙁

    • Janine says

      March 14, 2016 at 4:01 pm

Aw, I am so sorry to hear that Kenya and I do know certain flowers can be very strong and overwhelming with smell alone.

  18. Tamara says

    March 14, 2016 at 9:29 pm

That’s pretty nice. It would make such a great gift for someone! I can just imagine doing that for someone. Thanks for the idea!

Aw, happy to give you this idea and hope you can do this for someone very soon now 😉

Fresh flowers and plants always brighten up the room, or anyone’s day for that matter! Too bad it’s super hot here as we are approaching summer in the country and the flowers will probably die right away. Pfft.

    • Janine says

      March 15, 2016 at 6:53 am

Aw, sorry to hear that Rea and we are a bit behind, but you are right about summer with flowers outdoors here, too.

Those are gorgeous. I have been known to pick up a bouquet from the store on Sunday’s to keep fresh on the kitchen table throughout the spring and summer until my garden comes in and then I pick from there 🙂

    • Janine says

Flowers look gorgeous! #WonderfulWednesday
