It all started very innocently on Easter Sunday morning, when my brother gifted the girls his Easter gift from the bunny to them.
He has had uncle of the year state for quite sometime, but think this may have taken the cake and also might be a hard one to top.
First, he gifted them with the sold out and very hard to find Elsa plush (stuffed animal dolls).
Then, he hands us an envelope, which ended up containing tickets to our local skating rink for a Frozen breakfast complete with cast members from Frozen with Elsa, Anna and Olaf, too.
The event was to be held on Saturday, May 3rd and actually just happened this past weekend. The girls were over the moon excited and talked about it for weeks.
Well, this Saturday’s event came and went. But, I must tell you it was such a success and now the girls keep asking if they can do it again.
But seriously, for me even though clearly it was teenage girls who probably worked at the skating rink all dressed up, I still was so excited for them too and also for a morning out and about to take a much needed break from the computer and all my design and blogging jobs I have being doing into the late nights this past week alone.
And I just couldn’t help, but share it with all here on this Monday morning and photo bomb you all with some Frozen themed pictures with my girls from the event.
When we first got to the rink, the girls sat down patiently waiting and the excitement was definitely building to meet their idols.
The first character to make an entrance was Olaf and the party was totally on for my girls, who were beaming from ear to ear on this. And Anna and Elsa, too showed up shortly after. By the way. I got pictures of all entering, but because they all were moving very quickly and so many people were in front as I was taking photos, Olaf’s entrance was the least blurry and without other people in front of my view.
Once the entrances were over, we were off and running getting photo ops with all the characters…
First up, was Olaf and I think Lily’s expression said it all! She was totally in awe and amazed that Olaf was indeed right there in front of her very eyes.
Next, was Anna, who’s alter ego was as sweet and charming as the movie version. And in case you were wondering what princesses discuss. I will share here today that my two princesses had to tell each Anna and Elsa that they had gotten their nails done by none other then me the day before.
So, much so that the girls had to get their own and take a photo with Kevin and then with me, too!
Overall, the morning was a huge success and just want to say thank you again to my wonderful brother, who gifted us with these fabulously Frozen tickets! Thanks “Uncle Michael”!!
