Definitely summer here now and as I have shared often enough I absolutely love this time of the year. See not only for the weather in general. But also for the healthier recipes I can use to make meals with summertime fruits and foods.
Therefore during the summer, I usually like to eat more salads, including cold pasta salads with fresh fruits. So when I do make cold pasta salads here, I most likely will use salad dressings to top my pasta salads off.
With that in mind, I think it’s time to take a close look at the foods we are are eating, specifically salad dressing! Whether we realize it or not, we spend a good bit of time planning for the perfect salad … sniffing, squeezing, smelling, washing, chopping, and tossing. But then in the last possible moment, we screw it all up by adding a dressing that has been given no thought. So, I say that we should stop all that.
That is where Tessemae’s, which is a growing natural food company founded by The Vetter brothers (Greg, Brian, and Matt) in 2009 at their local Whole Foods Market in Annapolis, Maryland, using a simple recipe created and used by their mom throughout their childhood.
Plus Tessemae’s are the perfect enhancement to all delicious foods. Why? Because they are clean, fresh dressings, marinades, and condiments with real ingredients and no preservatives.. See Tessemae’s uses real, whole sourced food ingredients,Whole30 approved, certified USDA organic, and contain no added sugar, thickeners, or additives, which are unlike most salad dressings on the market. Janine,
I too eat a lot of salads during the summer. I love strawberries and pasta. I have never heard of Tessemae’s dressings but it looks soooo delicious. The Honey Balsalmic would be my favorite and I know it would be amazing with strawberries. YUM!

It really is hard to find an all natural dressing. There’s all sorts of crazy preservatives and sugars.
Janine says
I truly agree and that is why I was so happy to learn of Tessemae’s dressings.

I’ve been into salads a lot lately too.. 🙂 I’m always looking for yummy new dressings that are healthy! Are any of them gluten free? I’ll be looking into that. There are a few good ones out there, but I do hope there’s one in that amazing collection you shared!

This looks so yummy!!! I love having a fresh salad, and I will throw all kinds of things in there: especially strawberries. I happen to have some fresh picked ones right now, so I’ll have to give this a try. I prefer a simple salad dressing too, and not something that smothers or overwhelms the whole salad.
Janine says
I am with you on not using an overpowering salad dressing either and this one really is mild and just yummy. So, I hope you get to try soon now 🙂
Katherines Corner says
I love the mix of savory and sweet in this salad. I can’t have any dressing on my salads, they all have onion or some other trigger… Hoping your week is as swet as you are xo
Janine says
Aw, so sorry that dressings trigger for you, but also wishing you a wonderful week, too xoxo
