One of the first snacks, my girls fell in love with when they were just old enough to eat small snacks, was Goldfish Crackers. See these little Goldfish shaped crackers were a huge hit with my girls in those early days.
I can still very much see their little fingers grabbing for Goldfish to eat and enjoy. Plus, many of our smile worthy memories and moments over the years have included Goldfish front and center.
And yet even many years after, my girls still ask me to buy Goldfish Crackers for snack for home and school. They simply each the fun shape, as well as the yummy kid friendly taste of Goldfish Crackers.
Goldfish are quite frankly a family friendly favorite here. But I thought with Spring and Easter on its way, I’d make a fun new treat using Goldfish treat to create brand new Goldfish memories with my kids.
I think by now many here know I love making holiday, family friendly treats and crafts. So, I couldn’t resist giving Goldfish a try to make something my kids wouldn’t soon forget to help induce more smiles for them.

I got the idea that traditional or original Goldfish are the orange color of carrots. Carrots happen to be a favorite of rabbits. I mean bunny rabbit just so happen to be a spring concept, especially for Easter holiday. And my girls absolutely love bunnies.
So what better way for my kids to enjoy Goldfish then to make them Goldfish Carrot Snack bags. Plus, I just had to create a colorful spring/Easter themed label to be used with my Goldfish Carrot treats. These snack bags are also perfect to also hand out to your kids friends. Plus they are also perfect Easter/Spring party favors. And they can even work for school class parties for all those class moms out there. This former and current class mom is always thinking!
Goldfish Carrot Treats are very easy to make. First and foremost, you need Goldfish Original Crackers. You’ll also need cone shaped treat bags which can be found at any local craft store, such as Michael’s. Plus green chalk paint (dries quickly), Easter/spring themed ribbon and my FREE Printable label are also needed.

Goldfish is one of those snacks that never is out of custom. I’ve loved them for years and still do….how’s the storm, Janine? I hope you guys didn’t lose power, but that’s probably wishing for way too much. Stay safe and warm!
Janine says
I couldn’t agree more about Goldfish, Bill. And as for the storm, we got lucky as it finally did know here for a few hours yesterday afternoon into the early evening. But only about 3 inches. Never lost power and kids even went to school today. So, we dodged a bullet it would seem. Thanks for thinking of us and wishing you a wonderful Thursday now 🙂

Hahaha I do this every Easter with Madison, because she loves to pretend she’s eating bunny food. I may have to use your printable to make it more fun this year. During Spring we use Ziploc bags with a clothespin in the middle for butterflies. These are oldies but goodies.
Janine says
Love the spring with clothespin butterfly idea and am going to have to try that too 🙂
