The last few months here have been hectic and downright crazy. I mean with back to school, Halloween, Thanksgiving, a family vacation, our youngest’s birthday, as well as Christmas and New Year’s, it has been one thing after another.
But now, it is indeed the New Year. With the New Year brings colder weather, as well as possible snow events here. These snowstorms very likely will create snow days. And these snow days will find us indoors for more prolonged periods. During these times though, we still want to have fun as a family.
We find a few ways to indeed pass the time in the colder winter months in the New Year. Very often we enjoy snuggling up and reading. We also love playing family games, as well as watching movies together. Hover over the image below to get Goosebumps 2 at Walmart.
One of my girls’ favorite book series right now is The Goosebumps books. Well, as luck would have it, Goosebumps 2 is now available at Walmart on Blu-ray!
See Goosebumps 2 is a super fun-filled family adventure that not only my girls can enjoy, but the whole family can, too!
Plus, Goosebumps 2 is the second installment of the family-friendly franchise based on R.L. Stine’s beloved book series.
Right now, Walmart has Goosebumps 1 and Goosebumps 2 movie collection exclusively on Blu-ray. Goosebumps 2 stars Jack Black, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Chris Parnell, Ken Jeong, Madison Iseman, Jeremy Ray Taylor, and Caleel Harris. And the bonus features include a gag reel full of hilarious hijinks, three all-new deleted scenes, and five featurettes.
Goosebumps 2 was perfect for a family movie night for us. But along with our typical family movie night movie, our family made the ideal popcorn snack mix to enjoy while viewing the new film.
What did we make?
We ended up making a Goosebumps Themed Popcorn Snack Mix. Since the movie was not only funny but had a spooky element to it, we added some spookiness to our popcorn mix.
How did we do this?
Well, we included candy googly eyes and also cherry red licorice bites.
Do you want to watch Goosebumps 2, plus make the perfect popcorn snack mix while you watch it?

My son and I read the entire series many years ago….great shared memories, as are all family nights. Cherish them, Janine! They go by much too quickly.
Happy Weekend! Stay safe and warm!
Janine says
Aw, thanks Bill and truly made me smile knowing that you and your son also read this series together. Happy Weekend to you, too now 🙂
Tamara says
That looks so good I’d eat it now!
My kids want to see the movie just for the gummy bears! Also, we got a storm in November but it didn’t really cancel anything. And now we’re getting a huge one over a holiday weekend and with us in Florida.
Generally we do like to hunker down with movies!
Janine says
Yes, our November storm didn’t cancel anything either. Now looks like just rain here this weekend. But I guess time will tell. Hoping though you get only the best weather for Florida and Disney. But if you do get any nasty weather, especially when you are back home definitely give this movie night idea a try 🙂

I won’t be watching any spooky movies….not my thing. But I definitely will try the popcorn mix….looks yummy. And I’ll share it with my card buddies. Be careful when the bad weather hits and roads turn icy. Best to stay home! Have a good weekend. xxoo

Aw, thanks Cyndi. We actually got no snow and was only rain in the end. But got extremely cold here today and is like -10 real feel. So, thankful for a day off as we have stayed indoors all day today. Many hugs back and wishes for a wonderful week ahead once again, too xoxo <3
