I love Christmas music!

There I said it.

If I could listen to it all year long I could without being thought that I was crazy I would.

But still, I know better and yet as soon as it is socially acceptable like right after the turkey is served and cold on Thanksgiving, I will start jamming to my favorite Christmas tunes.

I listen to a wide range from classics such as, Bing Crosby’s “White Christmas” to Ronnie Spector’s “Christmas Gift for You” right through recent favorites of Michael Buble, “Christmas” and Nashville’s, “Christmas with Nashville” .

I also love to bake, especially Christmas cookies with my girls as these two are both my little baking helpers.

When we together bake Christmas cookies, we most definitely are rocking out to Christmas tunes.

The holidays and Christmas here can be expensive though.

Whereas back in the day, I used to listen to pre-owned records, then tapes and even CDs, now I stream music to hear our favorites.

But streaming music can get costly.

But there is a solution…

That is why I was truly so happy and thankful to learn during a recent Walmart shopping trip that T-Mobile has come up with pre-paid plans (which Walmart conveniently carries for times like these).

T-Mobile Prepaid Plans

Upon inquiring, I found out about Music Freedom, which is an included feature of the T-Mobile Simple Choice Plans that allows you to stream UNLIMITED quantity of music at high speed without counting against your data usage, such as NO EXTRA CHARGE and NO LIMITS!

So essentially I could listen to as much music I wanted from any music service you want like Spotify, Pandora, iTunes and HUNDREDS more without it counting against my monthly data limits!

T-Mobile Simply Prepaid

I am an Apple Music girl all the way and was so excited to hear this. So, I purchased the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Core Prime PrePaid Phone and $50 Monthly T-Mobile Simple Choice™ prepaid plan. I used while baking our first Christmas cookie of the holiday season, Hershey Kisses Peppermint Candy Thumbprint Cookies.

Peppermint Candy Thumbprint Cookies

It was a huge success to be able to bake these Hershey Kisses cookies , while streaming all my top Christmas music choices.  I will be listening to more unlimited Christmas music with my T-Mobile Music Freedom plan as I bake more cookies.

Would you like to find out what was on my Christmas music playlist?

Here is my Christmas music playlist:

  1. Mariah Carey’s Merry Christmas
  2. Michael Buble’s Christmas
  3. Christmas with Nashville
  4. The Beach Boys Christmas Album
  5. Bob River’s Twisted Christmas which includes, The 12 Pains of Christmas
  6. Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga sing Winter Wonderland
  7. Ronnie Spector’s Christmas Gift for You
  8. Bing Crosby’s White Christmas
  9. Christmas with the Chipmunks
  10. A Charlie Brown Christmas
  11. A Jolly Christmas from Frank Sinatra
  12. Happy Xmas (War Is Over) John Lennon

A Yummy, Festive Peppermint Cookie for the Holidays

Ingredients

  • 40 Hershey's Candy Cane Kisses
  • 1 stick butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • A pinch of salt
  • Red and green sugar crystal sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Pre-Heat oven to 350°F
  2. Beat softened butter, sugar, egg and vanilla.
  3. Mix together flour, baking soda and salt separately.
  4. Add milk to butter mixture, beating until well blended.
  5. Mix the flour mixture and butter mixture together.
  6. Make dough into 1 1/2 inch balls.
  7. Roll in red sugar or green sugar.
  8. Place on ungreased cookie sheet on top of parchment paper.
  9. Bake 10 minutes to lightly brown edges of cookie.
  10. Once removed from oven, allow to cool 2 to 3 minutes.
  11. Move from the cookie sheet to wire cookie cooling rack.
  12. Lightly press a candy piece into center of each cookie (if you press too hard cookie will collapse and chocolate will melt).
  13. Allow to cool for 10 minutes.
  14. Then, freeze cookies for 10 minutes to set the chocolate so that it won't melt.
