How to Have a Fun and Safe Holiday Celebration With Family This Year

Filed Under: BLOG, Christmas, Infographic Tagged With: Holiday Safe Tips for the Pandemic, Holidays

Although this year’s seasonal celebrations bring a new set of challenges, there are still plenty of exciting aspects of the holidays we can enjoy safely. Even if the holidays take some extra planning and communication in 2020, families can make awesome memories by being creative and open-minded. The number of virtual alternatives and new traditions is endless. Instead of dwelling on not being able to reunite with extended family and friends in-person, look on the bright side and consider everything you still can do to connect. After all, things might look a little different, but the holidays aren’t canceled this year.

As long as you actively plan on ways to digitally connect with loved ones, it should be easy to keep a positive and uplifted holiday spirit. Isn’t the holiday season special because of who you spend it with, not because of the number of people crowding your living room? You might be wondering what stress-free and socially-distanced festivities might entail—that’s where our guide comes in.

We came up with six low-risk activities to cherish with your immediate family this holiday season, after researching the recommendations provided by the CDC. When it comes to following guidelines, it’s crucial to follow your state and local laws as well. Check out this helpful guide from FTD below for inspiration on how to make this year’s celebration one for the books.
