The Princesses Love Miss Humblebee’s Academy

Filed Under: BLOG, Kids Posts, learning, school, Sponsored Posts, Technology Tagged With: Education, kids, Ms. Humblebee, Online Learning, school

*I received a free month’s subscription to try with my girls from Miss HumbleBee’s Academy.  No other compensation was received, although I am an affiliate for them, so if you do purchase through my links, I will receive a small commission.  However, all opinions are my own.*

I have shared numerous times here that I am trying my best to help both my girls (aka The Princesses) to be successful learners.

The Girls Hanging with the Stuffed Animals at the local Disney Store.

I am always making sure to that my girls are successful learners.

On a side note, this past week, I had both girls sick with fevers, coughs, runny noses and more, plus I was also not 100%, but I still have to take a moment to brag about attending Emma’s Parent Teacher Conference, where we were told she not only excelling in all areas of learning, but has tons of friends with all the kids in her class.  Proud mama moment for sure.

Emma Just Loves Kindergarten!

The academic and learning end, I can take a bit of credit for, because not only do I sit and do homework with her every night, but I also have been reading with her since she was very little.

Emma In a Finer Moment Sleeping

Once Upon a Time…But Now She Is No Longer a Baby!

Also, recently, I shared some iPad apps and how I have used them to help the girls with Kindergarten readiness skills/concepts.  I honestly love using technology to teach and reinforce my girls educational goals.

On top of all of this, I am always on the lookout for new ways to help my girls with learning, too.

So, when I read my wonderful friend, Echo’s website and she shared about an online program, Miss Humblebee’s Academy that she reviewed and used for her kids, I couldn’t help, but comment how I would love to try this online curriculum.

Lo and behold, the President/CEO, Crystal Labbe contacted me and asked if I would be interested in trying with my girls for my honest review here with all my Confessions’ readers.

I basically jumped at the chance and couldn’t thank her enough.

What is Miss Humblebee’s Academy?

Awesome app! I think the printables are awesome because they can put what they learned into practice.

I am trying so hard to get back into blogging and reading blogs…I need to find a balance…sighs.

I have found a bunch of great apps on our kindlefire that Anthony loves and there is also ABC mouse. I hear you, we want our kids to have a strong foundation and love of learning. If they fall behind, it has detriments for them in later years.

So glad Emma loves kindergarten, Anthony does too. Learning can be fun!!!

I recently won a set of word building cards from Ms Humblebees! You’re right… it’s an awesome app and I’ll be using it when my youngest gets a wee bit older.

Fabulous review! Your girls looks so sweet (and grown up)!

    Wishing you a lovely day.

    Janine,

Your kids are so smart and will continue to love learning because of all the great learning tools (AND MOM)they have been exposed too. All these things will pay off. I spent a lot of time with my oldest two kids and now both of them want to become doctors.

Thanks for sharing this great resource.

    Blessings,

I’m amazed at what is available for kids these days. We barely had the internet when my girls were little. Nice to see children enjoying learning so much. Those are a couple of very lucky little girls:)

This sounds like such a cute program. My daughter is in pre-school and she loves puzzles and I’m trying to help her with recognizing some letters. And I have to say that she loves any kind of app on my tablet. I guess that’s how it is with this generation! Every kid I know has a tablet that they have access to. My daughter would totally respond to the “rewards” this program has. Looks great!

Great information for parents. Since kids aren’t getting the education they should receive from schools, this sort of thing is invaluable.

    Happy Monday, Janine.

Aww, that’s so great that Emma is doing so well in school! πŸ™‚

I will definitely check out Miss Humblebee’s Academy. Kay has been getting bored lately. She just loves learning, and actually throws tantrums when her homework is done. I won’t complain because it’s better than throwing tantrums because she doesn’t want to do homework, right? Lol.

It’s wonderful that you are reinforcing school material with things at home, Janine. You’re instilling a love for learning in your girls that will serve them well. I wish these kinds of programs were around when my kids were smaller!

This sounds like a great thing! Here in Germany, true learning (like letters, etc.) doesn’t start until first grade; kindergarten (in Germany a 3-year program with the last year being a part-time prep-program) is mostly about learning soft skills and play to no avail πŸ™‚ But some of the excercises may be interesting for Violet.

Love that video! It put me in a happy mood for my day! So cute. This is a great learning tool and makes it fun for the kids and parents too. I wouldn’t expect less than a successful school experience for Emma because she is so bright and talented in many ways. I know Lily will follow suit, but in a different way. She’s Lily, after all!
    See you soon. Love xxxxxooooo

This is awesome! We’re still in the early stages of learning here with Ben being under 2 years old but I still try to incorporate learning into our every day routine in some way. I also love using technology to my advantage to help with this!

Hey, it looks different around here!! See, I’m a day behind. Always here, though.
I’ve never heard of Miss Humblebee’s but it sounds exactly up Scarlet’s alley! And she sounds so much like Emma. Just well-rounded. She loves music class best, but also loves PE, art and library. No homework for us yet! I think that starts in first or second grade. But supplementing with something at home is something I think she could benefit from since school has no homework and she’s itching to do activities at home every night! Can you believe that?? How long will that last?

Janine! This is really adorable! I’m going to pin this for me to see about this in the next few months. JR turns 3 in April so we shall see. I like that it has a lot of things that you can personalize AND I think he will benefit from the reinforcement of all the things he’s already been learning which is exactly what I would want. Perhaps they will let me review it in a few months? I guess there will be only one way to find out. πŸ™‚
