“You will understand, when you have kids!”
This line was uttered to me back about 6 or 7 years ago by my then manicurist at my local salon, who was fighting staying awake, because her young daughter had kept her up another night.
I remember thinking that it was kind of rude for her to say and how hard could it to get a baby to go to sleep, let alone be a parent.
Oh how times have changed and the mighty have fallen!
Seriously, fast forward to the here and now, where I have had two kids and now even a puppy under my belt.
And to answer the question of how truly hard it can be, I think I have uttered Everybody Loves Raymond’s Frank Barone’s line of “What contest in hell did I win” more times then not during each and every new phase and lesson learned, including and not withstanding my very own nights with little or no sleep, especially during Emma’s bout with colic.
I was for a lack of a better word, “Clueless” to what being a parent was all about and honestly wish I would have had someone or something to teach me a few lessons before or during each new transition I have had with my girls over the last few years.
Seriously, I wish someone would have given me an instruction manual back at my baby shower, because instructions would have been so very nice and now not only welcome, but appreciated, too.
Enter MomAssembly and to the rescue for all moms everywhere myself included!
MomAssembly to The Rescue! What is MomAssembly, you may be asking yourself?
MomAssembly is the first online video education site for moms to utilize in the comfort of their very own home anywhere, anytime. Quite simply finally an instruction manual is available to all moms and moms-to-be, too.
I am not joking when I say that online seminars and courses are available at MomAssembly for any stage or parenting issue all parents may need help with 24-7 from the world’s best parenting gurus, lifestyle and beauty experts, and health and fitness trainers – all in one place, which was co-founded in 2012 by Jill Spivack and Jen Waldburger, who have nearly two decades of experience as family and parent educators were motivated to bring their same unique offerings of parenting information, support and sisterhood to moms everywhere with MomAssembly.
What Courses Does MomAssembly Offer?
Whether you are a new parent, who is in need of help with new baby basics, such as sleep questions, marriage after children, how to deal with colic (I really so wish I would have had access to this when Emma had colic for the first few months of her life) or you are the parent toddlers or pre-schoolers (like myself) needing advice on issues such as discipline (this one seriously was scripted for my whiny, screaming girls), potty training (If I knew then what I know now on this!), pre-school panic (once again been there and done that) and so much more.
Check out the first course on toddler/pre-school discipline, which has given me new insight on how to handle my girls even at their worst:
Like I said all the parenting bases are totally covered and here at your disposal and definitely worth it in my opinion. The courses are broken up into class segments, with about 8 classes per course. The classes are literally themselves are only about 5 – 10 minutes in length, which is long enough to be helpful, but not too long that you busy moms on the go can still get all they need out of each class in a reasonable amount of time. And classes can be viewed on the computer, iPad, tablet, smartphone or literally any mobile device at the ready.
I have been there from the beginning and am so thankful that MomAssembly is now here to help me even at the pre-school stage, too. Because lets face it, even though my girls are no longer babies, I still could use all the help, I can get. So, I am truly thankful on so many different levels for MomAssembly’s existence, as well as ease of watching, as well.
What Does MomAssembly Cost?
The price for MomAssembly’s knowledge and wisdom is invaluable, but also a reasonable monetary price in my humble estimation.
For only $7.99/mo., you receive access to over 500 classes, over 50 downloadable handouts & workbooks, and you can add up to 4 family members & caregivers to your account for free.

I need this in “group session” format, as in a ladies night out with my girlfriends each and every Wednesday!!! Seriously though, it’s always best to get it STRAIGHT from other moms!! Thanks for letting us know about this.

Janine,
I have never heard of MomAssembly. Most parents are like you including ME, clueless on how to raise a child. We have so many questions with little help. I can see where this service would be perfect for a quick question. I also love that moms can assess it anytime from their computer.
Thanks for sharing!

This hit home so much. I really didn’t get it until I lived it.
Rosey says
I started so early that’s it been a way of life for me (my oldest is 26, his mama is 43, there’s the math for that one, ha!). BUT, I did get a lot of ‘I hope your teen is just like you were when you were a teen.’ Thanks mom. -_-
And now that I’ve lived through two teens, and am living through a third, to my mom I must say, ‘okay, now I get it.’ And I appreciate her more too. 😉

An interesting product for sure, one that should be very helpful to many new parents….I know I could have used it. Have a great day, Janine, and keep doing that thing you do.

Geez Louiz where was this when my kids were growing up! This is fabulous and the price is ridiculously nominal for all the resources offered. I love that there are so many courses offered, since no two kids are alike, it would be a rare situation that a solution could not be found in this amazing company. Shared all around and featured on fb. Carrie, A Mother’s Shadow

I agree with Carrie. I sure wish I would have had access to this when I had kids at home, especially the first one. So many things I had no clue about, this would have given me valuable information and peace of mind. Thanks for sharing.

I love it! I wish I did watch more videos on YouTube. I’ll share this for you though! 🙂 Have a great Wednesday!

This is amazing! I’ve read so many things online and watched so many things online too. But you know we can’t always believe everything online says. So it’s great that they come up with this reliable and credible sources. I’m at a point in my motherhood life where most of the time I’m at a loss when it comes to what I’m gonna do with my son’s behavior. You know toddlers!
Amanda @ Growing Up Madison says
A lot of first time mommies would definitely enjoy this. Why wasn’t this around when I needed it a couple of years, well 18 years ago. 🙂 I have a few friends who just had babies, I am so going to share this with them.

Umm.. this is amazing. We all joke about, “Where’s the instruction manual anyway?”
Figures that someone would be strong enough to put together one. Or rather.. like 500 instruction manuals!
Cynthia says
Hmm…well, if I ever become a parent, it’s good to know there’s some good stuff out there to give a mom a hand. 🙂
I hope you’ve had a wonderful Wednesday! Sending hugs!

How times have changed. This is a great idea….but that’s what mothers and grandmothers used to do for the new moms in the good old days! However, they’re not always nearby and/or accessible. So MomAssembly sounds like a good alternative to help the young moms to cope. 🙂

Sounds like a great resource! When I try to watch videos the kids are all over it, so maybe they could watch with me and “fix” themselves!! Added bonus!
