Recently, I was turned onto Origami Owl, as many who read my blog know.  I fell in love with these beautiful jeweled lockets, when I was actually invited to an online party thrown for this jewelry line. I decided to do a bit of research and even wrote this article on Hubpages about this here.

By the way, I also met and became friend with Jenny Adams, who is an independent designer for the company.  I asked her if she would like to share a bit about herself and this unique jewelry line.  She graciously accepted, so here today is Jenny sharing all about this below in her own words.  Please read on here for her story!!

What is Origami Owl? Origami Owl jewelry offers custom lockets that you personalize with charms to tell your story. As your story changes, so can your locket and its contents. The Origami Owl company is a social selling jewelry business and designers help customers and hostesses create a special gift for themselves or a loved one. Every custom creation serves as a reminder of who you are, where you have been, where you are going and the dreams you carry in your heart. So, look inside yourself to create fun, fashionable, meaningful jewelry that is as unique as you are.

A little about me: In December 2012, I received my first Living Locket as a Christmas gift. From that moment on I was hooked! As I proudly displayed my locket, everywhere I went people complimented on it and would ask where in the world I got it from. After multiple occasions of this, I decided that I had something good on my hands.

 

I am a single mother, working part time as a Preschool Teacher, while also pursuing my Bachelors degree. I wanted a way to earn extra money to support my family without taking time away from my daughter. I had considered other direct sales companies in the past but never felt like it was right. In February 2013, after much consideration, I decided to take the plunge and become a “Designer”. How easy is it to sell a product that you love and are proud of!

Four months in to being a designer with the company and I know I made the right decision. Our company is growing daily. In just the week before Mother’s Day, we sold the same amount we did our previous entire year! AMAZING!

    I've been to a few parties but haven't bought anything yet. I've been eyeing the initial disc pendant to layer with necklaces I already have. I have trouble resisting jewelry!

    I've seen posts and ads for Origami Owl and it's such a neat product. I like how much you can customize it. I'd definitely choose a locket with a family theme…maybe each of my kids' initials {even the dog lol!}.

    I love Origami Owl! I wanted to do a piece for my mom this past Mother's Day but didn't plan ahead and they were backordered or sold out of Mom stuff. I will definitely get a piece next year!

    Thanks for the giveaway offer! I was invited to an Origami Owl party a couple of months ago, when I bought Mother's Day lockets for my mom and my mother-in-law! Such a creative, personal piece of jewelry! Of course, it didn't take me long to order one for myself!
