Well, peanut butter and jelly has always been one of my favorites.

Honestly, growing up I was a picky eater. But peanut butter and jelly was one meal option I would never pass up.

Same, as myself my own little, picky eater also loves peanut butter and jelly.

But I thought I would try a slightly different variation of this classic favorite for both of us picky eaters.

As right now, my kids are in back-to-school mode after the holiday break a few weeks ago.

When they come home from school, they are back to looking for healthier snack options.

Again though, I have to keep the picky eater in mind though.

See my picky eater also enjoys pudding, as well as granola.

Plus all of these, I happily can find at my local Target.

Smuckers and JIF Products at Target

Therefore, I decided to combine the pudding, granola, peanut butter and jelly to make trifle cups for my kids’ after school snack.

Peanut Butter Strawberry Chocolate Trifle

Plus, the former Christmas Cooke Swap group I joined in December for the holidays has decided that they will be running trifle recipes.

So, killing two birds with one stone essentially here.

Delicious! My kids’ favorite. I like peanut butter more than jelly but in this respect, I’d love them equally. Maybe I’m just not a bread person!

      January 5, 2017 at 8:20 am

Our favorite, too and sadly I like bread though more than I should LOL!! 🙂

I am a bit of a weirdo in that I never liked peanut butter and jelly… only the peanut butter. I think the idea of a trifle is great for kids, especially because they can help make it and put it (or leave out) the stuff they like!

    • Janine says

      January 5, 2017 at 8:37 am

Aw, Seana love your suggestion to have the kids help and make it, as well!! 🙂

Madison would get along perfectly with both my girls totally! That said I hope you can try for her soon now 🙂
