Perfect Little Girl’s Dress for An Outdoor Family Portrait with Candela

Late last year, our family chipped in to gift my in-laws an outdoor portrait package with a local photographer for the whole entire side of that part of the immediate family.

The idea was a joint one, but even shared the importance of getting a family portrait here recently, as well.

Well, this photo shoot was to be scheduled outdoors.  So, even though this was a Christmas present, living in NY we knew full well this gift would not be used until spring or early summer once our weather began to warm up again.

Well, the portrait date is indeed set and now begins the journey of finding the perfect outfit for my girls.

I have been looking online at different ideas and recently, I found Candela, which is a unique women’s ready-to-wear and footwear collection created by Gabriela Perezutti, who grew up on her family’s ranch, surrounded by horses and cattle..  Established in 2004, the company has expanded and evolved quickly, gaining international recognition from influential tastemakers and fashionistas alike. Influenced in part by her childhood growing up on a ranch in Uruguay, Candela embodies Gabriela’s soft femininity, adventurous gaucho spirit and South American roots and is located in NYC, but all can shop online for their fashion needs.

Now, Candela also has extended its clothing to a children’s fashion, too with their Candelita line and have found a few adorable dresses that could possibly be contenders for my girls for this photo shoot.

I thought I would share here today and get some thoughts from all my readers on the three girl’s dresses I was looking at.

The Phaedra Dress is a delicate lace and bow detail dress with a peter pan collar dress, puff sleeves and keyhole back. The dress is fully lined.

The Ember Dress is a cotton and lace dress with raglan sleeves and a flouncy skirt and buttons in the back.

The Davy Dress is the mini version of the Elle Mini Dress with cap sleeves. It is a mesh dress with intricate floral designs.

    All are super cute but if I have to choose, it's either the first or the third — probably depends on the theme of your photoshoot? 🙂 Love the elegant white dress and also love the playful color and design of the third dress.

      I didn’t hire the person, it was my sister-in-law, who did. If it were up to me, I would use you and only you, because I adore you and seriously may need to hire yo in the future for just my immediate family. Love you to pieces and back 🙂
