Photo taking addiction!! If it is possible, I think I may definitely have this disease. I guess as disorders go this one is pretty harmless!!
But seriously, I am constantly taking pictures daily. If you follow my blog, then you know how I have a whole page dedicated to this with 1 Snap A Day. Documenting one photo from each day is not only fun, but rewarding, because I get to see how the year is playing out in all these photos. And in my life with my girls, there is always truly something to photograph.
I also very much enjoy using my MacBook and iPhoto to edit my photos. Recently, also I started to play around with PicMonkey online to make funky collages and also Pixlr to do even more editing that cannot be accomplished just with iPhoto, such as adding text and resizing images.
I do by the way have an Instagram account, but to be honest, I don’t use it as much as I would like, but do use my iPhone and my Canon camera to indeed take all my photos.
There are plenty of ideas I have come across to do with all the photos you can take.
Recently, I was contacted by Casetagram, which is the world’s first social design service to make custom phone and tablet cases using your Instagram and Facebook photos. According to company motto, you can “Shoot It, Place It, Case It”. Recently, they were even featured on E!, Good Morning America, On Air With Ryan Seacrest and many more!
Well, I was offered to design a Casetagram for my very own for free. I must tell you I absolutely love my case with all the pictures that I have taken of my girls being beautifully displayed in one place on loved iPhone (yes I might have another slight addiction as many already knew with my iPhone). This was seriously a fun project to tackle and can tell you that I think anyone who tries this out would most likely agree.
And if you are interested in Casetagram, it is available for the iPhone 5, iPhone 4S / 4, iPad Mini, iPad 4 / 3, iPad 2, iPod Touch 5, iPod Touch 4, Galaxy S III, Galaxy S II, Galaxy Note II and Galaxy Note. They come in frosty white or dark charcoal surrounding.
To upload photos, you can use Facebook, Instagram or photos on your computer, too. Once photos are uploaded, you can then have a blast designing your Casetagram. And believe it or not, they even now have a free app that can be used on your mobile devices, too. They ship worldwide and even offer free standard shipping on all international orders. And as for payment, they accept all major credit cards and even accept PayPal, too.
Also, if you are thinking of gifting this to someone, they offer virtual giftcards, too. With Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, too coming up, I think this would be a wonderful gift for any mother or father to be quite honestly. My own case has all beautiful photos of my children all over it and proudly displays my little princesses for me to show off anywhere I go!!
And according to Casetagram, they are 100% committed to making you happy, so if you unhappy for any reason with your order, you can e-mail them within 10 days that you received your order, and once they have confirmation they should be able to accept your return. They only ask that you do not return a case to Casetagram without contacting them first.
Contact Casetagram by email anytime at hello@casetagram.com. They are also on Twitter or on Facebook.
And one lucky reader today, will have a chance to win their very mobile phone case thanks to Casetagram up to a $39.95 value.

I'm pretty sure if I had any kind of photo-editing software at all I'd never leave the computer. I love taking pictures when a scene presents itself (I actually went through a little withdrawal when my old camera broke and I was waiting for the diagnosis from Fuji).
I don't dare sign up for instagram. 🙂
Janine Huldie says
Lol, Lori. I am signed up to Instagram, but because I do have iPhoto I rarely use it, but that said my iPhoto is my first addiction followed by PicMonkey and Pixlr (more photo editing and collages) nowadays. So this one was truly up my alley!! 🙂
Amy P says
Super neat. I am a photo taking crazy too. I may have to look into that. How durable is the case? Really quick option to show someone your kiddos without digging through your phone. Love it!
Janine Huldie says
Amy, the case if durable and truly very nicely made. And just love the fact that all my favorite photos of them are displayed on the back of the case for all to see. I think anyone would be happy with this really clever idea for a mobile phone case 🙂
Cyndi says

I love taking photos too! Actually, right now I'm trying to learn as much as I can about DSLR's in hopes of finding a fair-priced used camera soon. Have a great week, Janine, and happy photo shooting!
Janine Huldie says
Jelli, we have a Canon DSLR (hubby works for them) and he just loves that camera. I am more of point and shoot type girl and edit as I go along. But either way, love that I am not alone of my love of photo taking!! 🙂

That's a very cool idea! By the way…I love your photo collages, thought you'd been on picmonkey a bit, hehe 😉 (It's pretty addictive!) I've also started taking more photographs…never realised how much I enjoyed it. It's very creative. Hopefully I'll have a canon camera one of these days to use, for now it's my trusty samsung phone 🙂 Have a great day!
Janine Huldie says
Oh thanks Melanie and I am spoiled with cameras, because of Kevin's affiliation with Canon, but many times I do just use my iPhone even when he will be telling me to use my Canon Point and Shoot! Hope you too are having a great day and feeling better 🙂
