So every weekend since its inception this year I have joined the 10 Things of Thankful Blog Hop, except for last weekend. But I saw this idea on Kerri’s blog and also saw a comment left by Lizzi, the founder and figured I would try my hand at this by giving you my girls (aka the princesses) 10 Things of Thankful for this past year.
January
The princesses were all about staying warm and sharing their love with each other when they weren’t fighting over who could play with what toy!
February
The princesses celebrated Valentine’s Day in Style and also got their first real taste playing in the snow. Emma had a blast, Lily wanted to come back inside after 5 minutes or playing in the cold, wet stuff!
March
Princesses felt right at home with the leprechauns on St. Patrick’s Day and the Easter Bunny also wasn’t too shabby (with an early easter falling at the end of March)!
April
April Showers definitely didn’t bring the princesses down one bit!
May
May flowers had the girls all a bloom and even searching our lawn for them while finally enjoying a bit of warmer weather, too!
June
End of the year Dance Recitals and the last day of pre-school for Emma had the girls celebrating the warm weather in style!
July
A heat wave hit for the princesses and they, of course, took to the pool! As well as, Princess Emma celebrated her 4th birthday in all its glory at our local gymnastics place.
August
Found the princesses knee deep in Summer soccer, as well as a fun day trip to our local waterpark, too!
September
Both the princesses were now fully ensconced in pre-school and the fall soccer season, too!
October
Princesses love Halloween and these two are no exception to the rule and definitely found all the time to celebrate it in all its glory!
November
November found the princesses being extremely thankful for Lily’s 3rd Birthday!
December
Visons of sugarplums danced in the princesses heads as they awaited the big man’s visit on Christmas Eve!
Well, another successful year behind us and wishing all a very, Happy New Year now for 2014 from the Princesses to you!

man! how fast does 12 months get to pass? and (oddly enough) looking back on your photos is a reminder that is was a whole year ago… well, yeah, I know that's what 12 months adds up to… but just seems like a lot of time has passed in a very short period of time.

It's so much fun to look at a year in review, in the loves of the two princesses. And of course looking at them in the warmer months is making me wistful for the past summer, and hopeful for the upcoming spring/summer. If only you all could come to Disney when we do! Wouldn't that be perfection?

I always find it shocking to look back over one year with my kids. It doesn't hit me how much they can grow in one year until I look at the photos. It's true with your girls, too. Time goes so darn fast!

Thanks for the visit Rea and I honestly can say when I was pregnant I never thought I would get one little girl, let alone two. See, I am totally a girly girl and hoped to be able to have at least one girl, who I could share that with. But the n getting two was just icing on the cake for me. Raising girls is fun, but definitely has its moments with stuff like whining and tantrums. But still wouldn't trade it for the world!! 🙂
