In the blogging/writing community, I am always on the lookout for new opportunities to make a few extra dollars, especially using my creativity. Being a writer, I belong to my fair share of writing associations and/or affiliations to utilize those skills that I possess.
Recently, I stumbled upon RedBubble through, believe it or not, my affiliate advertising connections at LinkShare. I signed up to have their ads appear on my site and was then accepted into their affiliate program. Once accepted, of course, I went to their website to find more out about them. What I learned was nothing short of amazing.
RedBubble is a community, where those who have unique artistic and designer abilities, can go to once they have created their masterpiece, then market and sell it. RedBubble is completely free to join and from there the creative juices are allowed to roam free to sell your masterpieces to be put on their iPad cases, T-shirts and so much more. Even though I am a writer and not really an artist, I married an artist. So, this part of it intrigued me for my husband, Kevin.
The other side, to this, is the shopping aspect, which is truly unlimited and so very diverse. RedBubble sells and markets one-of-a-kind t-shirts, wall art, iPhone/iPad cases and just so much more. I can’t help it and am a shopaholic from way back, so this spoke to me on more than one level!
RedBubble’s VintageHarvey’s Disney Everlasting LoveMany know, I own an iPad 3rd Generation and my kids pretty much own it by extension even on a good day. Lily is now obsessed more than ever with Mickey and Minnie Mouse, as well. So, I am on the RedBubble Site looking around and taking it all in, when I found the perfect iPad case for “Little Miss Obsessed with the Mouses”. Check it out to the right. I think this one would be a huge hit in our house and have a feeling I am going to have to use some of their Christmas money that I had put away for a rainy day.
Further inspecting, I found out that this iPad case’s artwork called Disney Lasting Love is designed by VintageHarvey who is from Tampa, United States, is 20 years old and even joined October 2012. So as you can see, I was able to get a complete profile for the actual work of art, I was indeed looking at for possible purchase and best of all to me it would be like I was supporting another amazing freelance artist like myself. By the way, the iPad Retina Deflector Case retails for $63.90.
As for the actual specifications, RedBubble has advertised their iPad Case as “the world’s finest iWotsit protection we’ve hooked up with consummate case professionals Uncommon.” iWotsit is a company that is known for making superbly high quality and durable iPad cases that uses their invention of a revolutionary and top secret printing process called TATT™, which embeds the design into the case – so no fading or peeling, ever. Some other features are as follows directly from RedBubble’s Website:
- Extremely durable, shatterproof casing
- Allows access to all device features; Charges while in case, but not dockable.
- Special keyhole ring keeps photos completely unobstructed
- Available in 1000s of unique designs
- Fully compatible with Apple Smart Cover
- Available for iPad 2, as well as 3rd and 4th generations.
This is just one of millions of designs and products that can be found by the way on RedBubble’s Website. So for the shopper, the possibilities are truly endless.
For more information, RedBubble also has their own blog that supplies those interested in more creative muses, how-to’s and much, much more. The company is also on Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr. For those interested, you can either get shopping, try signing up, or do both.
In the end, the wife, the mother and the shopper in me totally approves RedBubble!!
This was a sponsored post by and for RedBubble. I was not in any way compensated through money and/or products for my article.

…'clicked through' to the site, in case (that) counts as something. Don't have an iPad but I saw the clothing section. You suppose they might take the Wakefield Doctrine DocTee as an item? (once we have gotten it into it's final form). A thought for the future.
Good hopation yesterday.
For the record, they should be compensating you! lol
Janine Huldie says
Oh thank you so very much Clark for the click through. I think you should totally see about putting the Wakefield Doctrine design on there. Thank you again for your support and kindness, as always!! 🙂 🙂
