Reliving Disney World with WeMontage

“When are we going back to Disney?”

My girls must ask this of us, if not daily, at least a few times a week here.

While we have promised them that we will be returning hopefully next summer, they still cannot seem to shake or forget our trip from last summer.

I get it completely though, as I am just as anxious as them to return to Disney with all its magical grandeur, because I absolutely loved our time there and wouldn’t have traded any of our memories.

But even before we actually went to Disney though, I attended BlogHer ’15 and finally got to meet some of my favorite blogging friends in real life.

One such person, that I had the absolute pleasure and joy to get some face-time with was James from WeMontage.

See James and I go way back, when I got to work with him back in August 2013 on our first WeMontage removal wallpaper creation. So, our finally meeting in person was a long time coming.  Plus, I am not only a huge fan of him, but of his company and product with WeMontage.  Definitely was an honor and absolute joy for me to meet him finally.

Even though, I was unable to make the first day of BlogHer due to my older daughter’s birthday being on that actual date, I did make it in on Saturday.  James and I finally touched base right before he was flying back home after his very memorable BlogHer VOTY speech.  

During our meet up, we discussed a range of different things in the limited time we had before he had to catch his flight. One of things, I asked him if I could make a new WeMontage using our upcoming Disney trip as the catalyst.

I knew it would be a monumental trip for my family even back then.  I couldn’t have been more right about Disney if I tried.

Still months have gone by since James and I met, as well as Disney. Life got in the way here a bit.  But I didn’t forget and neither did James thankfully.  

See WeMontage still has a very special place in my heart and even the likes of Martha Stewart has featured them and stated WeMontage is “a decor item every home owner should know”.  Plus, the Today Show has also given their stamp of approval as far as it being the perfect gift idea and can clearly see this in the video below.

So a no brainer that I would want to create another WeMontage with all the photos I had amassed from our Disney trip.

I was finally able to upload my photos from Disney into the WeMontage site (so easy and user friendly) and create a brand new WeMontage showcasing all the Disney characters that my girls met and got photos with.

From there, I played around with the 36″ x 24″ canvas space (one of the many WeMontage size options) that I felt would be a perfect fit size-wise for my girls’ bedroom wall. Seeing as this was all pics with them in them, as well as how much they indeed still excitedly discuss Disney, I honestly thought this new creation would be a great addition to their bedroom.

Once again, I was right about this, too and the girls absolutely adore their WeMontage Disney World Collage.  And I just can’t stop looking at it being transported back to every single one of the awesome memories captured in the above WeMontage collage.

    Since I’ve never been I can’t really comment on this, but I was surprised to learn yesterday that Disney owns the rights to Star Wars….who knew? Oh well, Happy Monday and have a terrific week, Janine.

      Bill, I only learned this myself when we were in Disney and believe they adding rides and more to their theme parks, because of this now. Thank you always and Happy Monday to you, too once again!! 🙂

    Is it just weird that I am tearing up over this, Janine? Oh my heart that montage is just PRECIOUS!!! And in your girls’ bedroom… even MORE PRECIOUS!! I just love how it looks and by the way, their bedroom looks like a fairy tale. Oh, how blessed your girls are for having YOU as their mom!!

    I can’t wait for you all to go back to Disney too! Just adore all the joy you have experienced with it!!

    What an awesome idea! As you know, we go every January/February. Darn I wish we went at the same time!
    Des has been very young both times we’ve taken him and might not remember anything. I do, though, and I have photos to prove it. This is something we should do.
    Also, I’m jealous that you met James! Jealous of him that he met you too!

      Aw, I think we are going back in the summer again this year and seriously wish you could be there when we were there, as well. And we need to meet, because Tamara, this one has been on my bucket list for way to long needing to be crossed off like last year now!

    I’ve been talking to Sam about doing a WeMontage of photos from our big trip to South America. I remember meeting James at BlogHer ’13, and recognizing Tamara’s photos up in their display! Glad you were able to make one from your trip, I’m sure your girls love it!
