Spring Ahead with March 2014 GLOSSYBOX

Literally a day after I posted about the February GLOSSYBOX here, I received my March 2014 GLOSSYBOX.

I had seen some images of it from GLOSSYBOX on Instagram, as I am a follower of theirs on that social media network.

I knew an Alex and Ani Soap product was to be be included, but I had no idea that they were including a bonus bracelet for this month’s box.

Seriously, I was over the moon when I opened the box and found an Alex and Ani Bracelet included for me, because I literally had just gushed and shared my new found addiction with this charm bracelet company, here the previous week.

So, as much as I complained about the shipping time the month before (this month was definitely earlier then the last day of the month), I am so happy I didn’t cancel and continued with my subscription, because this might have been the best box I have yet to receive.

I absolutely loved the scent from this soap and love using it every morning now, because I can smell it lingering all day long on me.  It is sweet, but also so not too strong.  Just the right amount of power to it and definitely not too much though that it could over power you by the actual smell.

Not going to lie and meant it when I said this bracelet made the box this month totally worth it and part of the reason I think the box sold out before the month was even out.  I mean getting a free Alex and Ani bracelet in my GLOSSYBOX was truly such a treat and had me smiling for days after I opened and found this wonderful surprise.

ALTERNA HAIRCARE – Bamboo Volume Plumping Strand Expand

A thickening lotion that strengthens, moisturizes, and adds volume to the hair from root to tip.  Hair appears full-bodied and never weighed down.

I have a lot of hair and it is very thick.  So, I usually don’t buy products to make my hair appear thicker with more volume, but try my best to get my hair to look less on the big side, yet more natural and under control to be entirely honest.  So, I have yet to use this product, but am thinking I may use it as it warms up and I don’t always dry and straighten my hair, but do it up wavy and more natural.  Definitely, hope to save it for the warmer weather now and get some mileage out of it then.

ETRE BELLE COSMETICS – Liplift Peel

A gentle and moisturizing exfoliator for the lip area.  It gently removes dead cells and refines the surface skin.  Once a week, or as needed, massage a small amount of Liplift Exfoliator on the lip area with gentle circular motions. After a minute, remove with a dampened cotton pad.

My lips are usually drier during this time of the year until it warms up.  So, I was excited to use this and give my lips that added extra protection before the true, warmer spring like weather arrives.  I finally did use and must admit, I most certainly liked it and found that it was a great product to exfoliate my lips to indeed prepare them for the spring now.  Definitely liked this product enough that I would use it again and would recommend for all those interested in getting your lips to be smoother, as well as to add more moisture to them, too.

NAILS INC. – Brook Street Nail Polish:

Looking forward to spring?  Skip ahead to warmer times by wearing this bright, summery coral.  Nails Inc polishes are professionally formulated for a long lasting, super glossy, flawless finish.

Was raining for most of the weekend, this past weekend, but I totally wanted to brighten up my nails to reflect that I am truly wishing for warmer, spring/summer-like weather and this polish totally did the trick.  Made me feel the warmth just by looking at my nails.  crazy how a good manicure can make all the difference.  And even though this was a pretty small bottle and probably get another use or two out of it, still definitely loving the brand and have used Nails Inc before here and can’t help, but recall again why I loved this brand so much.

I have lost track how many times now GLOSSYBOX has included a facial mask of sorts, but was willing to overlook it since this box was indeed pretty damn good, as well as the fact that this mask is indeed a premium product.  I used it for the first time a few days ago and must admit I could see why it is indeed a high end product, because I was definitely exhausted by the end of last week having my girls up two nights in a row with nightmares and such.  My face truly looked a slightly haggard and this was just what the doctor would order to help give it a bit of a pick me up.  So, thank you GLOSSYBOX for this addition to an awesome March box!

    My gosh I love this months box! I'm so tempted to join….

    My hair is extremely thick so I'm always trying to tame it. Ugh!

    You know, I'd just as soon rather have a smaller bottle of polish – I never use an entire bottle anyhow before it is too nasty to use.

    WOW!! I want to get a goodie box like that, how cool! Love the sexy red nailpolish, very nice! I might be reviewing my first product ever on GHB next week… got a health chair I'm going to be testing for a week. Quite excited, lol. Hope you're having a gorgeous day in the spring weather.     I'm not even going to kick myself for cancelling my subscription before this box…nope! Man, an Alex & Ani bracelet???
