Over a month ago, I was going through my Instagram feed, when I came across a fun swap and linkup, which was called the #SpringPolishSwap, where you get to swap polishes with other bloggers, then linkup for a special giveaway, too.
All here know that I am just a bit cu-cu-cuckoo for doing my nails and wait we haven’t even hit flip-flop pedicure weather here in NY!
But still I love trying new and different colors for my nails at the very least weekly.
So, when I found that one of my favorite bloggers, Mrs AOK was co-hosting this event, I decided pretty quickly to join by filling out the form with my likes for spring polishes.
I received my swap partner pretty shortly after I joined.
I got to swap with Paulina from Color Me Brave, who I happen to know and have followed from last year.
Paulina from Color Me BraveI received two adorable and fun Sally Hansen Triple Shade polishes.
I admit I have never tried this brand. I usually opt for OPI, Essie, Nails Inc, Zoya or Julep now.
Yes, I admit I am bit of a nail polish snob, but the colors were definitely funky, bright, fun and spring like for me.
First up, I tried the Reef-Raf, which was a coral, pink-orange-red glossy polish just right for this time of the year. It looked more red then pink-orange, when applied and allowed for just the right amount or brightness on the rainy, spring day that I first painted my nails with it.
Next up, was the teal, blue-green “Dive In” color, which I admit I wasn’t sure what to make of in the bottle, but on, I seriously loved this color, which was a medium green-blue was on my nails and got quite a few compliments on it.
The polishes both lasted for little under a week, dried very quickly with limited smug factor, because of this and must admit was nicely surprised at the quality of them both. May just have to give more colors by Sally Hansen a try now.
Thank you so much Paulina for swapping with me and to see what I sent Paulina, please click here.

Have a great day my friend.

Bill, I think it is totally you! Lol!! Seriously, enjoy your day now, too!! π

That's a great idea! (Swapping polishes) I just cut all mine off. I've been going thru the house – packing things up and lost or chipped several. It feels so strange to type and touch the actual keyboard with my fingertips!
Your nails look so cute and I love those colors. I am really glad you added a photo of the bluish color because I didn't think it would look so good and it does!
I think Bill would look better in an earthy color…but that's just me! Lmao
Janine Huldie says
Lol, totally just made me giggle on that last line and by the way, I totally was unsure of the blue-gree, but am truly loving it and still wearing it today π

I rarely step out of my comfort zone w/nail polish. It's fun though to do it (though I'll do my toes before my fingers if it's really bright π ).

These are great shades and I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen them on you. I'm tempted to try both – which is way out of my comfort zone. The swap was fun and I'm glad I did it, I will admit – I bought myself a polish when I bought my gift polish, I couldn't help myself.

Those shades are awesome! I like Sally Hansen products. I've never been disappointed by them, although many aren't cheap so you aren't really paying less than OPI, etc.

Not to shamelessly pimp out my business, but yeah I'm gonna anyways.. have you heard about Jamberry wraps? They are vinyl, non-toxic heat activated nail wraps unlike any on the market. TONS of pretty patterns and colors- basically prom dresses for your fingers.
definitely worth a check out!! http://www.jentan.jamberrynails.net.

Have seen Jamberry Nails, but at this point I am sticking with polishes, but thanks for sharing and will keep in mind if I change my mind now π
