*I received free SuperKind kits for my kids to facilitate my review, but all opinions below are my own.
Bubbling over with excitement on a recent Friday after school my older girl told me, “I have to tell you something.”
So, of course I listened in with eager anticipation as to what she was about to share.
It was in this moment that she more than happily conveyed that her name was added on a scale to the fish on the school entrance wall.
See the paper fish are in the lobby of her elementary school and the scales represent acts of random kindness that the kids may be caught performing throughout the school year.
Apparently she was awarded a scale for having been respectful and kind to one of her classmates and by the end of the conversation above she simply asked me, “Are you so proud of me?”
Of course, I was and made sure to tell her so.
This warmed my heart, as we just recently had been discussing Random Acts of Kindness and she had even helped me come up the list that you can find here for all kids.
So, I loved that our discussion hadn’t gone without her further internalizing it and continuing on with spreading some more kindness with her classmate at school.
And right after last week’s article all about random acts of kindness and this incident, I was contacted by SuperKind, which is a personalized product aimed at spreading random acts of kindness (“R.A.O.K”) around the world with their goal being to inspire a new generation of SuperKind heroes. This is a way to keep my kids and all kids accountable for the list list of 20 acts of kindness indeed shared on my blog last week.
But what exactly is SuperKind?
SuperKind spreads kindness and is a set of:
- 16 custom kindness cards – The kindness cards are double-sided and the size of a standard 2” x 3.5” business card. On one side of the card, there is an illustration of your child performing a R.A.O.K. The idea is for your child to perform the illustrated R.A.O.K., and then pass the card on to someone else. On the back side of the card, there are instructions for the recipient of the card to perform a R.A.O.K. within 72 hours of receiving the card.
- 16 custom stickers – The cards are intended to be passed on to other people, and we don’t think it would be fair for your child to be left with nothing after completing so many acts of kindness. That’s why we also provide a set of custom stickers featuring the same illustrations that were included on the cards.
- A certificate to affix the stickers – When your child performs a RAOK, he/she can then find the appropriate sticker and affix it to the SuperKind certificate that is also included with the set. The end result will be a beautiful keepsake for your child.
*The cards and stickers are personalized with your own child’s face and name.
And wait there is more!!
There is a FREE Digital Version, for those who Share Campaign, because they want all kids to have access to SuperKind cards, regardless of their financial ability. That’s why they are offering a free PDF download of the Kindness cards for anyone who shares their campaign. Sharing instructions on our Kickstarter Page, where they are also offering free Datevitation book for those who share their Kickstarter via Thunderclap.

Both my girls couldn’t have been more pleased when I showed them the kindness cards and stickers that were personally made for them and were psyched to be able to get to try out more R.A.O.K. as soon as possible.
And for me as her mom, I also couldn’t have been more happy as this is what it is all about, because I am truly a believer in raising both my girls to be kind and caring as much as possible as they are growing up now.
