Back at Saturday again folks and this Saturday, the girls are again playing soccer this morning. We have a ton on tap with Kevin being home through Monday and pretty sure we will find some more fun activities to engage in. However, it seems like I blinked earlier in the week and somehow here we are again back at the weekend! Another great week behind us, but now it is time for another weekend.
Once again, I am adding my ten thankful things from the week here to the Ten Things of Thankful.
1. Starting off last weekend on the right foot without having to cook dinner at home. We were able to go to TGIF’s and get one entree free with the purchase of one regularly priced entree thanks to Dawn’s Disaster for sharing the coupon with us that allowed for this special.
2. Swirls and Twirls yogurt being in the same parking lot. We took the girls for yummy frozen yogurt after getting that wonderful deal for dinner.
Yummy Frozen Yogurt!!3. Even though it was drizzling and no one from Emma’s soccer team showed up. Lily’s team was still there and they even let Emma join them. The girls had so much fun and got to finally play soccer together this past weekend. The smiles we got from them were quite infectious!
Sisters Playing Soccer!5. Yes it rained Saturday morning, but it cleared up enough for us to barbecue on Saturday night and enjoy a delicious, juicy London Broil we bought at Stop & Shop that was on sale.
6. Sunday afternoon being a quiet day and even getting to enjoy a tasty, homemade treat in the form of an Almond Joy Smoothie. For the recipe, click here.
Almond Joy Smoothie7. Having Kevin home on Mondays still. And this Monday, he let me catch up on some much needed blogging. I actually got my whole week plotted out and even got a good jump on this week’s worth of blogging, because of this. I felt so accomplished!
8. For the latest endeavor, that my lovely friend Elena at Cropped Stories, included me in the form of the PINcentive Blog Hop and now can’t wait for it to start in September.
10. For another weekend and this one being able to take the girls to Splish Splash (our local water park) to enjoy this lovely summer Saturday!
