Too Honest for My Own Good!

Most that read my blog know that the one trait I am most known for is being honest. In fact, I am too honest often enough and this can get me into trouble.

Ironic enough when my good blogging friend from Cloudy with a Chance of Wine mentioned a new Facebook group formed and how she thought I should join, I couldn’t resist and looked into it.

Ok so here comes the ironic part, it is run by none other then J..D. of Honest Mom. Well, I am honest and a mom, too.

Pretty quickly I was allowed to join her tribe and so happy that I did. Because Honest Mom runs a wonderful group just the perfect size with the most perfect bloggers included, who are always willing to be there for each other and help their own out.

    I wrote about it a little on your guest post. I don't really know what Scarlet is yet! She goes to a mixed age preschool and last year she was one of the youngest (and not just ONE Of the shortest. She was the shortest) and she was going up against four, five and even six-year-olds by the end of the year. Some had been together for two or three years and were quite tight. I'd see Scarlet try to keep up with them but she really couldn't. They weren't mean about it, though. And she was much smaller and younger. And it helped to see those other girls' parents just say to me, "God, she's adorable and beautiful." I believe in my heart that she'll probably do ok socially. She is just so chill. She did NOT inherit that from me.

      Tamara, I think Scarlet and Emma could be very good friends, because the way you described Scarlet is very similar to the way Emma acts most times. She has always been my very petite, shy little girl. This surprised me a bit from her, but have to admit I think it was more having her cousins there that made her feel like this then anything. But, in the end, thankfully she and this little girl became friends. And will tell you she really does have a good heart (she is a lot like Kevin and very easy going, too). This is a tough age apparently though and really never know what I will expect from one moment to the next.

      Stephanie, it really is and if you are interested, I can see what I can do. I know the group decided to be kept small and not add to many members at a time to keep if from getting crazy and out of hand. I actually like that one rule of thumb, because I have been a few FB groups that just got out of hand and had too many people in them. I couldn't keep track of was who.
