One of the remarkable things about planning a Disney World vacation is that they let you make your Fastpass+ selections early. It’s so beautiful to know you have that time slot secured and you can start planning the rest of your day around it. Of course, it is so vital that you get in and select your fast passes as early as possible, so you don’t miss out. Select these if you don’t want to miss out on some of the most significant Disney World Fastpass reservations.

5 Fastpass Selections to Make Before Going to Walt Disney World
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
It’s a very long wait. That’s all there is to it. If you want to ride this fun, Snow White themed coaster then you need to select your Fastpass reservations for it as early as you can. If you are staying at a Disney Resort you have an extra thirty days, so I suggest you use it. The ride has a fun interactive queue, but that’s no reason to skip the Fastpass like it is with Test Track. You do not want to be caught in standby for hours on this, and you do want to experience this ride.
Peter Pan’s Flight
Peter Pan’s Flight is inexplicably popular. There is nothing wrong about the ride, per se. However, it is a very short ride and not at all worth the time people spend waiting for it. This attraction is another ride that recently got an interactive queue, and you can have a lot of fun in here, but it will eat up a good chunk of your day. It’s worth riding, It’s a great little ride, but don’t get caught without Fastpass reservations for this one.
Flight of Passage
It can hardly be any surprise that the newest, most technologically advanced attraction currently at Disney World still garners excessively long wait times. Unlike the other E-tickets in the Animal Kingdom that generally take a little while to build their audience in the morning, Pandora is still top on everybody’s list and the wait times only grow longer as the day goes on. Get your Fastpass Reservations and go on some of the other big attractions like Dinosaur and Everest, before the park gets too busy, then use your Fastpass like the pro you are.
Frozen Ever After
Frozen is still popular and fans are coming around even after the loss of their beloved Maelstrom. This one is a fun ride, whether you are a fan of Frozen or not. But especially if you are a fan, you need to make sure you don’t get stuck in the standby line. Waits can sometimes exceed the posted times if there are too many people with Fastpasses. Make sure you’re in that line.
Space Mountain
Space Mountain is an oldie but a goody. Wait times don’t lie. You can wind up spending over an hour and a half in standby if you don’t get your Fastpass to this attraction. It’s an excellent strategy to make Fastpass reservations for Space Mountain and tackle the other end of the park earlier in the day, so you can take it easy in Tomorrowland with Carousel of Progress and the Peoplemover.
There you have it the Top 5 Attractions MUST Have FastPass+ Reservations at Disney World for you.

Agreed! I make sure to have a Fast Pass for Seven Dwarfs, although maybe one day I’d like to see the queue. Peter Pan is so not worth the wait, so no Fast Pass, no ride from now on. Flight of Passage, we didn’t get a Fast Pass but we went there first thing in extra magic hours and waited an hour. It was worth the wait, but I’d prefer a Fast Pass in the future!

We are doing the Villians After Hours and fingers crossed I can get right on 7D MineTrain, but in the process see the queue that way. I have only ever used a FastPass for it and have more FastPasses for it for this trip, too. As I refuse to wait like 75 minutes for a ride I have indeed already done no matter how good the ride is! That said, I agree about Peter Pan. But still so many people want to ride it and the wait times are always insane. So, that is why I still recommend a FastPass. As for the Flight of Passage, I have never done early Magic Hours and this time out we are doing the DVC Moonlight Magic at AK, plus I have a FastPass for it, as well. So, definitely hoping to get on a 2nd time with the DVC event, too π

Mine Train for us, and you’re right. You need FastPass. Although we did early morning magic hours last time and wound up riding it without FastPass and four times in a row! Whoa!
Janine says
Aw, that is total magic and for us, it was Villains night this past trip getting to ride it late at night without any Fastpasses, as well π

Have a safe trip home…..and enjoy your last day and hours at Disney! We’re having a heat wave through the weekend so it will still feel like Florida when you arrive home! I hope Emma had a happy birthday celebration. She was very brave to ride that roller coaster (photo you posted here). Hope to see you all soon. xxoo
Janine says
Aw, thanks, Aunt Gloria and slowly settling back in, but truly missing Disney right about now. But also hope to see you soon as well xoxo <3

Are you back, yet? Hehe. Your commentary about these rides was hilarious, “that is inexplicably popular” or “Space Mountain is an oldie but goodie.” So true! I loved Space Mountain when I went there as a kid. Great to know it’s still there. And the Peter Pan one, haha. That makes sense there’s a Frozen ride, and Snow White sounds promising from what you say. I hope you’ve had fun this week! Sending hugs! π€

Aw, thanks, Cyndi and we just got back. So, slowly settling back in here with laundry, grocery shopping and more. But yes all of these rides are truly Disney favorites for us and most definitely rode a few multiple times this past trip. Sending hugs back now and hope your week has been good so far xoxo π
