New Baby Shopping Made Simple by Pish Posh Baby

Filed Under: Sponsored Posts Tagged With: 6 Main Points, Best Purchases, Infant Car Seats, Pish Posh Baby

Spring is indeed upon us and many new babies will be arriving in the next few months.  For those expecting, due soon or thinking of having a baby, I recently was contacted by the company Pish Posh Baby to share with my readers about their exciting online website.

Pish Posh Baby was actually created by a mom (Sarah), not unlike myself or any other moms out there.
She was pregnant for the very time and of course so very excited.  But also quite confused as to what to buy for her baby.

Pish Posh Baby

Let’s face it that it can be truly overwhelming when you are pregnant with your first and trying to decide what you will need for your little one.  My first will be 4 years old in July, but I still remember this like it was yesterday and I did end up buying some stuff that quite frankly I never did use or need.

Well, Sarah, at this point, did her homework and reported on her popular new blog what she found along the way by researching hands-on a wide variety of baby products. And from all this dedicated work PishPoshBaby was founded, It was created as a high-quality store that give the facts, as well as advice for those parents-to-be who are completely lost in the whirlwind of baby gear needs.

I honestly wish I had known about this company when I was newly pregnant, because I think it would have helped me tremendously. But I am happy to share this with others who are having their first baby and do indeed need some much needed help in this area.

Take for instance purchasing an infant car seat.  This is truly a must, because your baby will not be allowed to leave the hospital unless they leave securely strapped into one of these seats.  But trying to decide which infant seat is the best can be not only overwhelming for first time parents, but downright confusing.

Pish Posh Baby carries a wide variety.  But because they have Sarah’s concept of her blog backing it., the buyer can go to her blog to find out more information on this.  Lo and behold, after searching for infant car seats the company has issued an article giving a comparison of the six most popular car seats along with how they fair on the six main key points that infant car seats should meet.  See the image below that was originally used in their blog post.

Infant Car Seat Guide from Pish Posh Baby

And once you have read up about these car seats on the blog, you can now shop for them back on their website. So, it isn’t just a store, but also a place to become well educated on what will work best for you the new parent-to-be.

For those interested, they listed in the above chart 6 different infant car seats.  Below I listed them with pictures for you to get a better idea:

  • Maxi Cosi Mico, which retails for $189.99.
Maxi Micro Mini
  • Maxi Cosi Prezi, which retails for $289.99
Maxi Cosi Prez
  • Peg Perego Primo Viaggio, which retails for $269.99.

  • Britax B Safe, which retails for $179.99. Britax B Safe

  • Cybex Aton, which retails for 269.95. Cybex Aton

  • Chicco Keyfit 30, which retails for $194.99.

As you can clearly see, Pish Posh Baby not only broke it down so nicely for the parents to be on this newborn baby essential, but they also guarantee the best price possible, as well as free shipping on orders over $75.  You can call toll free at 877-747-4767 from 9am to 9pm or even chat online with a live representative with any other questions or concerns you may have.  They can also be found on Facebook and Twitter, too.

So they honestly have simplified purchasing infant car seats, as well as all of your other baby needs here in one place for all parents.  Happy Baby Shopping!!

I remember being SO confused about what to pick for my baby the first time I was pregnant. I was trying to register for my baby shower at Babies R Us and I was clueless. There wasn't anything like this available back then 😉

I know same here Robin and from all I saw and research here this truly is such a wonderful resource and help to new expecting parents. I am with you and wish this was available when I was expecting, too.

Although I'm sure I won't be looking at things like this for at least another year or two or three, it's always interesting seeing what new baby gadgets and things are on the market. I have a friend's baby shower to go to next week and I have no idea what to buy! Am so out of the whole baby thing. What would you recommend buying? It's for a little girl 🙂

    • Janine Huldie says

      April 25, 2013 at 4:04 am

Melanie, does she have a baby registry. If so you can go on there and see what she has listed and even try to use Pish Posh Baby to find out the more information on what she is looking for and make an educated decision as to what could work versus what wouldn't. It also depends on how much you are looking to spend and try to look up items in that price range. This can be such a confusing purchase (trust me I know and ave so been there). If you need any help, please feel free to ask me anything. I will try to help to the best of my knowledge 🙂 🙂

This is a really good site for first-time moms. I know I definitely registered for and received or bought a lot of unnecessary items. I love the car seat chart that you featured–very helpful to those trying to decide on a good pick! I'd love a chart like this for every baby item to compare them lol!

    • Janine Huldie says

      April 25, 2013 at 7:39 am

Thanks Kera and I loved that chart too. Really so informative and so very helpful, too!! And truly the same here buying so many unnecessary things, too.

The chart is really cool. What I don'T like is that all the car seats are fairly high-priced. It would have been good if one or two under $100 seats would have been included. I remember how difficult shopping for baby gear was back then, but I had an Army of seasoned moms behind me giving me advice, and I felt comfortable with the items we bought.

    • Janine Huldie says

      April 25, 2013 at 11:50 am

Stephanie, I hear you about the prices, but to be honest I found them in the range of what I spent back a few years ago for our infant carseat, but do understand your concerns. There are more infant seats they offer then on the list and I do believe you can also call or chat online with a representative if you have questions further then what was even listed in the chart. Happy to hear you had so much help and was satisfied with you purchases in the end and think that is all that matters truly 🙂 🙂
