There is no secret on my blog that I am a mom to two daughters. My girls are growing up quickly. When I first started this blog back over 7+ years ago, my girls were still babies.
Now, my oldest turns ten this July. That’s right double digits! And my baby is already eight years old. So, we have been celebrating Father’s Day for quite a few years now.
So, my kids have pretty much run the gamut on ways to celebrate with my husband over the years. Therefore, I have a few suggestions for young kids to look for ways to indeed treat their dads this Father Day.

The 5 Most Perfect Ways for Kids to Celebrate Father Day
1. Pamper Dad
Give dad breakfast in bed. Do his chores around the house. But whatever you do, make your dad’s life more comfortable even for 24 hours on his special day.
2. Write Dad a Letter
Let dad know what you think of him. So, write him a simple, but sweet note to tell him just how much you love and need him. Trust this mom that I never tire of getting simple love letters from my loves – ever. So, think dad will love it, too.
3. Enjoy Outdoors Together
Spend Father’s Day together outdoors enjoying the spring-time weather. The weather is finally starting to cooperate. So what better time than now to spend the time with each other outdoors enjoying the glorious weather together.
4. Give a Day Away to Dad
Sometimes as much as dad loves and adores his kids, he needs time away to himself. So, for this one offer him a day or even a few hours for himself. Whether you gift him a gift certificate to his favorite sporting event or also offer him some quiet time alone. Trust me, alone recharges all parents to be their best for all.
5. Make Dad a Craft
Father’s Day Mason Jar Craft with all Dad’s Favorites. That’s right; sometimes the best gifts are the easiest to make and gift his favorites. My husband happens to love chocolate. So, one of his favorite types of chocolate is OREO chocolate bars. He has more than enjoyed the original and mint flavored bars in the past. But his newest OREO Chocolate Bar favorite is OREO Cookies & Crème Chocolate Bar.
