So, I have been running two blog sites and also doing consulting web design services for more then a few weeks now. I was writing a novel and still trying to edit another short e-book, but that I admit has taken a back seat to.
Also, trying to still have some semblance of a life by taking weekends off, too. I must admit it has been really nice to do and have also been feeling so much more refreshed when Monday does hit again. So, for the time being I will be continuing on with this.
There have been a few days now, since that I have posted a blog article on here and also on my J9 Designs web design blog, as well. And I am sure there will be more days when this happens, but I thought today, I would share today’s article here with you, since the topic that spawned this article seemed to touch many.
The original article was born from my love of BlogLovin and how it has truly helped me organize my blog reading, while helping my keep and gain new readers alike.
From that article, I was actually asked a valid question on BlogLovin usage and how to maximize its benefits. The blogger in me loved this challenge and of course got to writing to help others on this.
It is Monday now and I am trying to gradually wean myself back into the weekly routine, as I am sure many are too. So, again I thought instead of writing two articles for this Monday and making you all read two new articles, I would just use this blog today to redirect you to J9 Designs.
So, for more help with BlogLovin, once you sign up and claim your blog, please click here.
Lastly, I wanted to take this opportunity to once again thank all who have been so kind and supported me so far. I very much appreciate it. And also please don’t forget to contact me for any and all of your blogging/web design needs.
If you didn’t read my blog post for the weekend, then I would like to share that my blog button is up for an award. Bre from Peacoats and Plaid is hosting a Blog Button Design Battle and my blog button is in this round being voted on. If you could swing by and cast a vote for me, I would totally appreciate it and thank you for that. Please click here to do so!! Thanks again!!

Thanks for the awesome Bloglovin' tips. I have to admit Bloglovin' has been a lifesaver for me. It helps reduce the amount of panic attacks I have when it comes to reading other blogs. My inbox was getting ridiculous!
Happy Monday!

Huh…I saw over the weekend that you had changed your commenting system. Very nice – so far I can comment, lol.
Um…I voted for your button. Yippee! Good luck! I should like get on BlogLovin or something. π I’ll have to take a look.
Have a great day, Janine. π
Janine Huldie says
You were on my mind for weeks with this one and then I had a few others to add to the list with having issues with commenting and Disqus that I knew I needed to do something. So hopefully now this will solve all the major issues and happy to change if it will do that. Plus I get your wonderful comments on my actual blog again and that in itself was worth it!! π
Karen says
I can understand how tiring it is, between work, online class, blogging, and mothering I don't have enough time or energy. I applaud you on trying to keep up!
Janine Huldie says
Oh thanks Karen and trust me there are days where I just wish for a bit more quiet, but then I probably wouldn't know what to do with myself anyway!! π

Good for you mama, you need a bit of a break every now and then! And this way, some of your readers who didn't know about J9 Designs can check it out. Good strategy π I'm heading on over there right now to read…and of course I hope you had a wonderful weekend! xoxo
Btw–how are you liking using IntenseDebate?
Janine Huldie says
Thanks as always Kera and so true about needing a break from stuff every once in awhile. And I switched to Intense Debate, because I had a handful of readers that were having trouble commenting over the last few weeks. So far so good, but will keep you updated on it as it goes!! π
Lanaya says
You're one busy mama … I can relate to owing and operating two websites so I absolutely feel for you. I'm glad you are starting to take the weekends off because this is such a full time job in itself … we all need a break!

MelChi says
Oh wow, you have a new commenting system! It looks quite funky, I like the pink reply buttons. Glad your web design biz is going so well! π
Janine Huldie says
Thanks Melanie and was pretty much forced to change when DISQUS wouldn't let a handful of my readers login or comment. But I am liking this new system and hopefully all can now comment!! π
Kenya G. Johnson says
I've got you in both places now. I do find that myself looking for the bloglovin follow more than anything else now.
Janine Huldie says
Oh thank you and now I have you, too. Swear I had you on there and seriously see still a work in progress for me, too!! π
Kenya G. Johnson says
Is see you moved from disqus. What made you switch? It is nice that you can match your reply buttons though isn't it π
Janine Huldie says
I did this weekend Kenya, because I was having a handful of readers, who couldn't leave me a comment or sign in. So, I finally decided I to do something. Was afraid I would lose all my comments, but thankfully I didn't. I love the option of changing the reply button to my favorite color of pink, but still getting used to not having DISQUS.

Kathy, I honestly love it and it really does help with all my blog reading needs, so I would totally tell you to try. But that is just me π
Chris @HyeThymeCafe says
I have been on BlogLovin' for a while now, but I find I use it more like Pinterest – scrolling around and seeing what catches my eye. I'm still crushed to be losing Google Reader for following you and all the other blogs I to go regularly.
Janine Huldie says
I never was a part of Google Reader, because I mostly have been on WordPress. So, this for me worked out very nicely as far as being able to use BlogLovin, but I could understand how you feel, because you were used to it and it worked for you. So I am sorry for the inconvenience Chris π
Debbie says
I need to get more active on BlogLovin. Thanks for sharing this on TALU today. I need to figure out how to follow my followers. I can't see who has followed me π
Janine Huldie says
My pleasure in sharing this today and thank you as always for hosting. I will say that I do usually try to reciprocate following if someone has followed me, but you are right that don't tell you directly who is following you back versus who you are following and that would be a nice feature. I guess we can't have it all, but it is again something maybe the developers will take into considerations and add at some point in the future π
@sloppycopymommy says
I am with you on Bloglovin. It makes things so much easier to navigate. It makes me feel that I might just have a chance to get through all the mess that is the internet and really read some things! π
Found this on TALU! Thanks for linking me to it.

Thank you so very much and glad to hear that others do feel similar to me on the whole BlogLovin phenomenon. So happy to have you stop by, too!! π

Oh thanks as always Melissa. And I know it is something that so many truly don't think to do, because we have so much more on our minds. But glad you do the hope, too!! π
